Pulls across the boobs, but square neck doesn't gape, so probably a design trade-off

So... I always like a square neckline, but they are hard to get right. Often they gape, but this one does not. The trade-off is that it pulls across the boobs. I first tried size large L (Amazon suggests), but as this is slim-fit and I'm not really, I sized up to extra-large XL (if you don't mind clingy shirts, L can work, but XL wasn't so much bigger I looked awkward and looked nicer down the back and on the sides). I had hoped it would eliminate the horizontal lines that appear because I have breasts (currently wearing 38D in most brands/cuts), but they remained. However, as the quality of the fabric (heavier than the competition, nice sheen) and the price all suit, and the shirt behaves all day long, I've decided I can live with this. If I catch more nice colors on sale, I will likely repurchase this shirt.

Material seems to have changed; still a flattering cut

I originally ordered these last year (2022) and received soft, cotton-like shirts. Decently thick, not heavy, and not see-thru. The square cut was flattering, though the collar did buckle a bit. Probably could have sized down to fix that, but I didn't want the rest to cling too tightly. This year, I've ordered a couple more in new colors but the material feels different. The label reads the same (58% cotton, 39% modal, 3% elastane) but now the shirts are thinner and shinier and have a stretch like you would expect from bodysuit material. The cut is still flattering if you like square necks. The collar, in the exact same size as before, no longer droops but stretches across the bust. Some light sheen. Overall: a tighter, figure-hugging fit.

My favorite new t-shirts

I love a square neck shirt. It’s very flattering. It’s also kind of hard to find. I recently saw that Amazon has some cute square neck T-shirts with elbow length sleeves. Whereas I prefer three-quarter length sleeves I can be happy with the elbow length. I ordered three T-shirts navy, navy and white stripe and gray and white stripe. I adore the striped ones. They are so attractive looking. I urge Amazon to offer them in red and white stripe, black and white stripe, and red and navy stripes. They are just super. I ordered my normal size and they fit excellent. They are my new favorite shirts.

Nice but Clingy

Update: ordered again, 2 sizes up. I was surprised that when I washed it (gentle) and hung to try, it actually got larger! So 1 size up would likely have been right. Beautiful color and nice fabric, but this top is clingy in all the wrong ways if you have loose skin. I even went up one size, and the fit was right but showed every flaw. I’m older and have lost weight - not a good look in this top. If you’re fit or use shapewear, this would be nice for you!

Clingy fabric

I was looking for a top in yellow for a skirt.. This did not match well on the skirt.. This is body hugging, clingy material that didn't go well with my skirt.. But it's a good product, if you are looking for a soft, stretchy, body hugging kind of fabric in a nice yellow color.. hence the 4 stars..

Great if you want to cover your arms

I’m a little self conscious of my older arms as a 57 year old but this top looks great with the square neck. I bought a white one last season and bought a pink one this year. It’s a little fitted but that works for me. If you are trying to hide a belly then I’d likely go a different way.

Good Value

The quality is pretty nice but unexpected, because the price was so reasonable. The medium fit was perfect. You may experience part of your bra strap showing. I did, and remedied that with a bra the same color.

Love the fabric!

The fit and fabric are perfect. But having to return because color is more mustard versus brighter yellow. Only wish this top came in more colors like bright red, yellow, green, etc. I'd pay a ton of them if they did because they fit they great and love the feel of the fabric...

Cotton with elastene so no bagging

At last, T shirts with longer sleeves, a scoop neck and cotton with elastene. I found these to be a close fit but they don't bag like pure cotton does after wearing for a while. I have 6 now.

Good quality

The fit was excellent and true to size. The fabric was soft and felt comfortable. The only downsize, hence 4 stars, was it kept riding up which became irritating.
