Doesn't fit great on me, but who's gonna see?

I got the XL bikini bottoms. They are made of a material that seems to be a standard thickness for a bathing suit or bikini. They are not thick, and not too thin. The sides come up very high on me, but the waist I feel doesn't come up high enough. I was hoping it would come up to my waist, covering my belly button, but it's about an inch too short for me. It's not the kind of material that's stretchy in a way that would hold its shape if I pulled it up, it just goes back down to where it wants to go. This might just be a "me" problem. Overall though, they are nice and I'll get a lot of use out of them...in the backyard. lol.

Pretty thin swimsuit bottom, UPF 50+

This is not bikini underwear. It's a thin swimsuit bottom that is UPF 50+. Good that it has UV protection, because the listing didn't mention it. Bad that it's thin, so it doesn't offer much in the way of support. I have a 29 waist and am often borderline between small and medium. I sized up to medium in these, but I should have stuck with small. I am high waisted, but the medium easily could be worn way above my belly button. Not sure if small would have fit better, but these seem to be extremely high waisted. A bit too much for my taste. But, they might work better for others.

Comfortable

They fit as expected, and pair nicely with a swim shirt. They don't ride up in the back, and provide good coverage over your stomach. However, I'm not sure waves would be your friend with these bottoms.

1980s throwback style

These are moderate coverage in back but 1980s high waist/leg. Because the leg holes are so large, they aren't going to give the coverage or tummy masking support that a brief would. And, I am pretty sure a trip down a waterslide would transform them into a temporary thong. This is just the nature of this type of swim bottom. There are two layers of fabric and I find the weight and stretch good, no issues with opacity.

Really high-waisted and runs VERY small

This review is for the Amazon Essentials Women's Waist High Leg Bikini Bottom (Small, Washed Black). The material is typical swimsuit material, well-made, but whether or not it will fit well for you is going to be highly dependent on body type. The design is definitely very high-waisted, really too much. It would probably work best for taller people, definitely not for anyone that is petite. From a sizing perspective, it runs VERY small. We ordered the size we always do in swim bottoms, and this is the first time it was a definite full-size too small in the cut. So, if you do order these, strongly consider going up a size, or be prepared to return and swap for a different size.

Size chart correct

Getting the size correct when ordering swimsuits can be tricky. Sometimes it is better to order separates to have a more accurate fit. My wife says these fit true to size as in the size chart. The fabric is thin but not see through. The fun color print matches the pictures.

Viel zu hoher Bund

Ging zurück. Der Bund ging bis fast unter die Brust, was auf dem Bild so nicht erkennbar ist. Wenn ich einen Badeanzug haben möchte, dann komme ich mit der Hose in die Richtung.
