Very flattering!
This coat exceeded my expectations! I really love it and I was so worried that I would just look like a puffy marshmallow in the jacket! That is not the case at all...it is actually is a nice fit and very flattering! I love the zipper which you can also zip upwards from the bottom. The color was exactly what was shown in the picture (grey) It seems to very warm although I haven't worn it in extremely cold weather yet but I am planning to wear it on a trip where the average temperature will be around 55 degrees during the day. I ordered a medium and luckily it fits but it is just a little snug. I'm 5'4" and about 153 lbs.

Performed well
I bought this jacket for an April trip to Europe and it didn't disappoint. It kept me warm and dry while I toured the south coast of Iceland all day in 30° temps, rain and gale force winds, including a climb of 527 steps to the top of Skógafoss waterfall. I repeat, it was raining. All day. With 70 mph winds. I had layers underneath that didn't get wet through the jacket and I stayed warm. It dries fast and the hood stays up and protects your face pretty well. I wore it all around Prague and Copenhagen, too, in various weather. While traveling around Italy, I easily folded it into the front slot of my carry-on suitcase, which worked great with space and weight being very limited. It's held up well being packed and unpacked, balled up as a pillow, tossed around planes and trains, and washed numerous times. I'm 5'6", 140 lbs. I got size Medium and have comfortably worn up to 3 thin base layers underneath it.

Buy this jacket for vacation!
I am 5’10” and 145 pounds. I bought this jacket for a week in Sweden in April, when the temps would range between the 30’s at night to mid-40’s during the day. I layered it with sweatshirts and other base layers underneath and it was perfect. The sleeves were long enough, although not as long as some of my base layer items, constructed with the finger holes. The hood is fantastic! Once it’s up and the jacket is zipped all the way, it doesn’t fall down. I was grateful for the added warmth the hood provided. One other important detail: I am so glad I bought this jacket in red. It stood out magically and beautifully in pictures and was cheerful on any otherwise gloomy looking days. I’d definitely recommend this for experiences like mine!

found a bag this can stuff into...
downgrading below review to 4 stars. why?: 1. i have worn one coat only a few times, and the zipper is totally messed up. i actually noticed this soon after purchasing but was like 'i'll deal with it, after a few tries i can get it to work.' but .... now it's not working at all. i dont think the other two colors i bought have this problem but i haven't worn them much yet. i suppose they had to put in a lightweight zipper but i wish it worked bc now i have to throw away a pretty new coat. 2. this coat i'm wearing, the green one, has already ripped. the fabric is thin. perhaps this comes with the territory of being ultralight? but my other ultralight jackets by 32 degrees i wear all the time have not ripped. 3. i wrote below how you need to buy a separate bag to pack this in, and i did buy it. unfortunalty i forget to bring it, though i will try attaching it to my other amazon coat (I have this coat in 3 colors). but upon thinking about it, it is really annoying that they just didn't design the coat's bag correctly in the first place, making it much bigger. no one should have to buy a separate bag. i was at the museum of natural history the other day and was so annoyed i could NOT pack the coat into amazon's attached bag (i forgot to bring the separate bag i bought, and yes i should have replaced amazon's bag with mine. but the fact that i am tasked with having to buy a separate bag and replacing amazon's bag with my new one is annoying. i do not have this problem with other brands. i wouldn't buy this again unless they fix the other issues. coat is great, wish it came in prettier colors. i wear a L in sweatpants, dresses, and usually in coats in general i size up to an XL. first i got this in a L and thought it was a bit snug...i looked a bit like a stuffed sausage. then i got it in an XL and it really made me look bigger/bulkier. went back to a L and am satisfied. yes i look a bit like a stuffed sausage but id prefer that than to looking larger. even with the L, i can wear a fleece underneath and still zip it up. cons- -i am almost 5'8. i wish this were about 2-3" longer - it doesnt cover the part of my thighs that i'm not happy with, i have to wear a long t shirt. -the sack it comes with - this coat does not stuff into it. i just got a 32 degree brand jacket and that easily stuffs into the bag it comes with, in several seconds flat. this? no way. fo this coat, i had to buy "Granite Gear AirBags Stuff Sack Set - 2 7L" - i just guessed on the 7 liter size and wham, was lucky, this coat stuffed right into that. wish this came with a bigger stuff sack so i didn't have to buy expensive stuff sacks on my own. -i'm not a fan of the colors. i wish it came in tan, a pink, and a prettier shade of blue. i was kind of shocked they don't have a basic tan color. i can see how people get addicted to these - i am keeping the black, the green, and the red, but i'm not in love with the red, i wish it were more of a cherry red. -i wish this were just a tad more shapely, with a more defined waist and a bit of a flair, but that's just me, i'm super feminine. this isn't bad, it's certainly better than how uniqlo looked on me. i have curves. pros -really is lightweight, and in mid 30 degree weather in NYC, i wore a fleece under this, and was warm enough! this has got me obsessed with the idea of travling light. also when you wear it you can feel the lightweightness of it it's like a freeing feeling. i have a bigger, much heavier down coat and this isn't QUITE as warm as that, so i will save that one, but this definitely makes me feel light and free while still keeping me warm. -pockets are nice, i put my hands in them and they stay warm -portability. again, i was annoyed i had to buy a separate stuff sack for this, but i can see how, when i travel from nyc to florida, it will be really, really nice to be able to stuff this in a little bag rather than schlep it around. so i am keeping these, but i also am going to try the 32 degree brand bc they have longer coats, and one in tan. i'll probably end up keeping ALL of them. just in love.

Nice slim fit
This coat has a very contoured slim fit, which is exactly what I was looking for. I like the pocket size and zipper feature. The only thing I wish is that the hood was adjustable.

All just as expected
I live in Florida. Going on a 18 day tour of western Canada with an Alaskan cruise. Temp in Calgary, where we start, 33 degrees????????! I ordered the lightweight puffy coat and I believe it will be perfect. Fit was just right, a little close fitting but that’s good for warmth. I won’t wear bulky sweaters underneath. I needed a coat I could squash up and pack and this will work. Don’t want to schlep thru airports etc. Color slate gray will be neutral for anything. I’ve never had a puffy coat before. I’m hoping this one will satisfy all my short time needs. Not expensive because I’ll have no more use for it here at home. Delivery in 3 day, as promised.

Perfect!
I bought this for a trip to Seattle. And I am so glad I did! It was the perfect length and weight and kept me warm with only a long sleeve shirt underneath. It was great.

Nice and lightweight
This is lightweight and packable in the little bag supplied. Seems warm enough when temperatures drop at night, although it may be too lightweight for very cold weather without an extra layer underneath. Will have to see. I'm a UK14 and bought a size XL to make sure there was room for a big jumper or fleece underneath when its really cold. The only negative so far is that the zip is a bit difficult to get in the right place to do up.

Very impressed
It's difficult to find a longer coat when you're a pear shaped woman. When I buy larger sized hip length or longer jackets/coats to accommodate my shape, I normally end up with excessive sleeve widths and bust areas. They seem to be cut with the impression that women are the same size all the way down, whether that be slim or curvy. The coats can end up looking ridiculous on me and unflattering. I am delighted to say that this coat is excellent. It flares gently from the waist and there's no excess material bulging about at the arms and chest. It creates a really flattering silhouette. I'm delighted. There's plenty of room to wear a t-shirt and a fleece underneath, if required, and it's cosy. I'm 5' 3" and it comes down to about 3" above my knees. I cannot comment on durability yet but for fit and the ability to not make a curvy woman look like a shapeless ball, it's 5 stars from me.

Fantastic Puffer
I’ve been looking for a quality competitively price puffer for a while when I came across this one. The quality is very good, super lightweight and overall I’m very happy with my purchase. I bought the XXL as I like a roomy coat that allows for layering underneath. The coat is slightly shaped at the waist – bust is 50”, waist 48” and length from neckline to hem is 37” long, sleeve length 22”underarm The zip can be a bit fidley at the bottom but I particularly like the idea that the zip is 2 way, perfect for when you’re sitting so you don’t put extra strain onf the zip. Hood is a nice fits that doesn’t drop down over your eyes, as yet I’ve not worn it in the rain so can’t comment on that. Inner pocket would be a nice addition

Great quality product
I was looking for a slightly longer length, lightweight coat when I came across this item on Amazon. Competitively priced, I went ahead and purchased and am very pleased with the item. The quality is very good - not as lightweight as some of the feather filled jackets, so I would say this is light to middleweight. I have worn it in rainy weather, and the water resistance was confirmed. The zipped pockets are of a good depth - an inner pocket would be a nice addition, but not essential. Sizing is good - I am probably between a M and L, but went for the L to allow a slightly looser fit, but this does not look oversized. Considering getting another colour.....

Warm for Wild Weather Fluctuations
I really like this jacket! I’m 5’3” and a bit heavy so I ordered a large! It fits nicely. Let me tell you, we have had an early snowfall, here in Grande Prairie, AB, and the jacket was surprisingly great against the wind. It rained yesterday then it turned to snow and the jacket is water resistant for going in and out of the vehicle. As far as keeping me warm....it was -2 C today (when picture was taken) and I only wore a fleece sweater underneath. It was toasty! I loved that my lower back, bum and upper thighs were protected, too. I wouldn’t doubt that I could wear it well to -10, but mostly for going in and out of vehicle. For today’s long walk it was perfect! We shall see how the wear goes (others say it has ripped), mine is fairly new, love it!
