Runs a little big
A pretty good jacket. Made of a velvety fabric, well constructed and sewn. Good for early spring and later fall. Runs a little big. I received the jacket in color “grey”, but it is definitely more green-ish.

It's a very nice jacket, quite comfortable, a few limitations
It's quilted on the inside, and should be good down to about 35° for most folks. There are four pockets, two on the side and two patch pockets in front. These have two snaps--more work to fasten, but flap curl is avoided. The thin-wale corduroy is quite attractive, and resembles velvet from a distance. I find it to fit quite well. --Some people prefer jackets with an elastic cuff, or some sort of closure or tightener. I have included a picture of me holding the cuff for my assistant's inspection. There is a good bit of stitching reinforcing the cuff, but no elastic. Sadly, those who wear this to a football game may experience cold wrists. --There are no pockets inside, and some people prefer inside pockets for the sake of security. The side pockets, like many, but not all, side pockets, would not take too much coaxing to dump larger items on the floor. My Motorola Android just barely fits in the front pocket, if one is willing to force the flap, exhibiting a bulge. My Pixel sticks an inch and a half out of the pocket, and renders the flap useless. I do not understand why any jacket these days would not be designed to provide several proprietary pockets for phones and other small electronic devices--even a business suit normally has a couple of fairly deep inside pockets. Our world is wired like never before, and it's only going to get more so. --In any event, it's an attractive and warm jacket, good for going on hikes, in which case I'd likely have a pack, and phones wouldn't have to be stuffed in a pocket. POSTSCRIPT: Wore the jacket on a 150 mile, eight stop shopping trip today. It was very comfortable, and I felt I was very well presented. The perfect weight for riding around with windows down on a bright but slightly nippy day!

Really nice jacket. Runs one size big
Really nice jacket. Expandable and made out of quality materials. It does runs one size too big. It is a good value for the money.

Might need to size down
I usually wear a Medium in my jackets, but this one was a bit larger than my other jackets. The outer Corduroy material feels a little cheap compared to my Corduroy pants that I have. I do like the lining of the jacket. Only 2 front pockets and 2 chest pockets. An inner one would have bee nice.

Quite nice
I like the look of this jacket in the pictures so was curious to see it in person. I picked grey as that is my favorite color. I am not quite sure I can figure out why they call this grey, Maybe my eyes are messed up or something, but to me, it looks like some type of muted teal. What is interesting about it though is being corduroy, depending on the angle, you get a bunch of different shades of the color, so it looks pretty interesting. So while I feel like the color name should change, I quite like the way it looks in person, and I think the pictures online do a pretty good job of representing what it looks like. The fit is pretty good, I would call it spot on. I think when you get a jacket, you expect it to have a little bit of extra room for layering, and this does, without being overly large. It's reasonably fitted, enough room to layer something like some fall clothes under it, without being enormous. The inside is lined with a nylon type liner that feels nice. The outside is soft. It's got 2 roomy, open pockets on the sides for your hands, and then 2 buttoned pockets, 1 on each side of the chest area. Probably the only notable pocket missing would be one on the inside of the coat somewhere, but not that big of a deal. I've bought similar jackets from a designer store that cost 2-3x as much and seem like they are approximately the same quality as this, so I feel like this is a really nice bargain for a nice jacket.

A rare, good find
Buying clothes online is always a risk so I'm usually hesitant to pull the trigger. However, this is one of those rare times it paid off. This lined corduroy work jacket is great. The Amazon Essentials is not a brand that has been around long, so it's normal to question the quality of one of their products, but this one is actually nice. This material in this jacket is very nice. The corduroy feels great, the padded lining is fairly thick and the overall jacket is quite heavy for the size, indicative of the quality of the product. Each of the pockets up top have two buttons that snap easily and stay closed and the zipper is made well. This jacket also looks nice, in my opinion. I ordered the dark chestnut brown and, to be honest, I wasn't a big fan of the other colors. However, the brown jacket looks very nice and does give it a "work" look and feel. I think it would also work for a casual business look as well in the fall and winter. The only aspect of this jacket that I can speak for as of yet is the longevity. Perhaps after a season or two, we'll see how that goes, but I have a feeling, just from the way it's made, that it should stick around without issue. Knock on wood. I'm pretty happy with this jacket. It's not every day I find a piece of clothing that A) fits well; B) looks nice; and C) is a good value. This work jacket ticks all the right boxes and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone look for a good value on a decent jacket.
