For the price, nice!

I love Women's Columbia fleece full zip jackets. My daughter bought me one (red, size large) for Mother’s Day years ago and it has been wonderful and I wear it all the time. Saw this one on Amazon and thought I’d give it a try in a new color … I ordered this in the bright pink. Amazon suggested me ordering a size XXL, which was way too large, so I exchanged for an XL which fit better. I love the color as I purchased a pair of neon pink sketchers which match fairly close. It’s not as well made and does not lay as nicely as Columbia, but for the price it’s nice!

comfy and flattering

Initially I ordered a 3x in a brown buffalo plaid. I am 5'3", 234 lbs, 46C bra. Since this looked a little fitted I thought that would work but it was too big and sloppy looking so I returned (no problem) and ordered this print and heather blue. Both fit perfect. The sleeves are a bit long but not enough to have to roll. This is thick enough so it does not sink into rolls or show lumps. Layering is a must in Wisconsin in my opinion so I was not looking for super heavy but something different than a hooded sweatshirt or cardigan. It is perfect inside a place that is chilly but not enough to leave my jacket on. On the other hand it works when someplace is so warm I would be uncomfortable leaving this on also so I can take it off and just be in a short or long sleeve tee. I wore it on a sunny day over a tee and in the upper 30's to go in and out of stores and was comfortable but would not have spent too much time outside this way. If you want something heavy to replace a winter coat in a cold climate, this is not it ,but if you want something that looks nice enough to wear anywhere and look a little dressier this is nice. In the picture I am wearing a t shirt under the jacket and have plenty of room to feel comfortable and not stuffed in. I have wide shoulders, heavy arms and a tummy and this is no problem. I can wear a long sleeve tee or shirt under but would not put anything heavier under or this fit would be too snug for my taste. This dips in slightly at the waist and out again at the hips. The fabric is soft and the zippers seem very sturdy. It is nice to have zippered pockets. I have had compliments on this jacket on me. I did not take pictures of the heather blue one but the fit is the same. I also washed these in cold water, delicate dry with no shrinkage or seam puckering. They had a very slight dye odor and the wash took care of that. The picture is after it was washed. I must say the brown buffalo print in 3x that I initially ordered seemed to be a little lighter weight so don't know if there is a difference in colors ordered but the 2 I got were as expected.

The perfect jacket

This jacket is perfect. It’s pretty lightweight, but also fleecy and warm. Fits well and as expected, good quality, love the zipper pockets to keep things secure. I have two of them, a gray and black, and they are perfect to wear to work (I work at a vet clinic).

The perfect casual jacket

This jacket was perfect to replace my old 14 year old fleece I had been holding onto for dear life as I could not find a suitable replacement. It’s warm and properly insulated but not overly bulky. The lightweightness of it means I can wear even in a slightly cool day and not feel hot. I’m a woman who does not carry a purse and the pockets are deep with inside and outside options. Everything I need fits perfectly within the jacket. This is an everyday year round jacket for me.

Color is off!

I ordered a navy and an aqua blue. The navy was good but the aqua blue in actuality, looked like sea green. I am well aware colors can very however, I feel that the difference it quite stark. The coat itself is soft and comfortable! To wear as a jacket over a shirt, I would recommend ordering a size up from your usual.

Loved everything, but was disappointed that I didn't know to order up a size. Definitely needed an XL instead of a L.

Works and looks great

Lightweight, shaped well, sleeves long enough, XL plenty roomy but still with a fitted look. Navy is beautiful and it doesn’t seem to be a lint magnet so far. Will work great for an upcoming trip, will get a couple more for everyday wear.

This does not run small! Good for the Price

After reading a number of reviews and answers saying that the sizing runs small on this fleece, I ordered a size up. I tried it on as soon as it arrived and... it was huge!! Please find attached an artists impression of the incident, as I didn't take a photo. I'm assuming these were small in the past but the sizing has since been corrected. I'm a UK size 12-14 and, after exchanging the huge one, ordered a Medium. The fit was perfect! Regarding quality, you get what you pay for. I love the pattern, the fleece is soft and the zips work fine. It's only a thin fleece, so good for milder weather or layering. Pockets are a good size too. After wearing this regularly for 2 weeks, some threads around the trims and seams came loose (nothing is actually coming apart) and I've had to snip them off. This is why I've given 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, it's a good lightweight fleece with a nice choice of patterns & colours. Decent quality for the price. Just be sure to order your actual size!

Bought it for myself, but my dobbie loves it, so it is hers now :)

I got this jacket for the multi-day backpacking trip. My dog chewed on a zipper a day prior to it, but I still decided to carry the jacket for extra warmth in the evening when walking around the camp site. However, the dobbie got cold during the trip so I decided to just give it to her. I give this item 5 starts on her behalf as she was very warm and comfy. P.S. The material is really soft and warm, I wore it a bit during the first day of backpacking and it felt great. It is light, but takes quite some space in the backpack, so it might not be the best choice if your backpack is already full. I might order another one for my next backpacking trip

A bit different and comfy and smart.

This is a really nice warm fleece, however it's more like a cardigan as it would not be warm enough in the UK without wearing something else on top. I originally ordered an XL, which was far to small. I am a size 18. So I ordered an XXL which was perfect.

Way too small fit!

The colour of this fleece was lovely-exactly what I wanted. However, despite ordering up a size, the jacket was still way too small-but the sleeves were way too long. I'm sounding like Goldilocks now. The cut of jacket means it goes in at the waist which emphasised how small it is overall. and I'm talking about an XL here. I couldn't exchange for an even bigger size as the sleeves would have even longer. So, the jacket had to be returned for a refund. Foreign manufacturers are simply not very good at adapting their sizes to fit UK buyers.

Very Smart

This is a really lovely fleece. In terms of weight, it is more cardigan than jacket but certainly warm enough for spring. It's nicely shaped and the contrast edge around the neck makes it look smarter than most fleeces. I bought the red and It looks exactly like the photo. It is true to size but not generous. I'm a size 8 and ordered a small. I can get a thin jumper under it. i usually buy Regatta and this compares well. Really pleased and would take a chance on Amazon Essentials again.
