Flattering/forgiving, nice texture but not high quality

This sweatshirt was selling for $10 when I ordered it. I'd buy another one at that price. Now is more than double the price and I wouldn't buy it at that price. It is comfortable, I've gained a lot of weight and bought a large. I like the way it fits. (In tops I buy XL). The color is really nice. The texture on the outside feels nice to run your hand on it. The inside feels nice also, but I'm sure that after a wash it will not feel soft/nice like it does right now. It is the type of material that pills up into little balls. Another con is that I wore it straight out of the packaging and it left "hairballs" on my tshirt. Maybe if I had washed it prior to wearing it, it wouldn't have happened.

I Absolutely Love This Gorgeous, Comfortable, Amazon Essentials Sweatshirt!

This is such a wonderful sweatshirt; the purple blue color is a lovely deep orchid shade, and the sweatshirt is so soft and comfortable. The cotton/polyester blend feels so luxurious against my skin, and the sweatshirt is very well made; it has a ribbed crew neck, ribbed bottom, and ribbed sleeve cuffs. I am between a medium and large size, and ordered the large, because I want to have lots of room. This sweatshirt fits my 5'4," 120 lb. frame beautifully, and I have already received lots of compliments when wearing it. This sweatshirt can be paired with jeans, jogging pants, leggings, slacks and shorts. If I could give a higher than a 5 star rating, I would. I strongly recommend this sweatshirt, and would love to have one in every color!

Warm, Cozy And Comfortable Sweatshirt

I got this cozy fleecy sweatshirt in an XL. I'm short about 5'2", and this is very comfortable and warm to wear in the miserable weather we're having. It looks good with jeans or pants however the sleeves are a little bit long for me and a little bit tight on my lower arm. It wasn't easy to pull the sleeves up a bit as I normally would so I folded the cuffs instead. I assume after it's been washed a couple of times the tightness will work itself out. The overall length is a good bit longer than a similar Essentials sweatshirt that I purchased from Amazon last year so this is a definite improvement in my opinion. If you like oversize clothing this will probably work well for you. I ordered my normal size.

Cozy, not actually french terry fleece

I was excited about this sweatshirt because the product listing stated that it was french terry fleece, and I have purchased and loved multiple pairs of Amazon Essentials french terry fleece sweatpants. Alas, this is ordinary sweatshirt fleece and is a bit heavier than I had hoped for spring use. That said, it is still a nice sweatshirt that is very soft and washes well. The fit is indeed relaxed without being oversized. I'm 5' 6.5" tall with long arms for my height, and I found the sleeve length to be just right.

Very comfortable, but not able to pull the sleeves up

I put this sweatshirt on just to try on, but it was so comfortable, I realized I'm still wearing it 3 hours later. The fit is *almost* perfect for me. This may be a plus for some, but I'm the type who likes to pull my sleeves up. The cuff is longer than most of my sweatshirts, and somewhat tighter than I'm used to. I ordered a medium, and the body fits fine. It's actually loose fitting, and the bottom comes past my hips. I'm only 5'1" and have recently seen my wardrobe slowly overrun with crop tops (sweatshirts included), so it was nice to get a longer sweatshirt. I just wish there was more stretch in the cuff.

Like the color

Sweatshirt is a bit darker than shown on my screen, a rich chocolate brown. The fabric has a really nice feel, and washed just fine. The body is generously cut, but the sleeves are a little odd in that they're kind of tight from the elbow to the wrist. My arms are certainly not skinny, but I've never encountered this before. Despite that, I predict this will become a favorite. I have some of the Essentials sweatpants, which I wear all the time.

Wish it was a little longer

I love the material of this sweatshirt and it fits well size wise but I wish it was a little longer. I got my husband the male version of this and even though his is a size medium and mine is a size L, his is longer by several inches. I’m only 5’7”and my torso isn’t crazy long so it might end up being too short for taller women especially in smaller sizes. The sleeves are also too tight on my forearm to be able to push them up. It feels comfortable on my arms wearing it normal but it’s really frustrating not being able to push the sleeves up when I’m hot. Overall though it’s a comfy sweatshirt with really nice material.
