Not heavy but attractive tight in shoulders

Nice black washish design. Shorter than frock coat length I like which makes it seem informal. Shoulders are too tight even on XL but worse on L which fit everywhere else. I’m no body builder either.

Sized for layering

Excellent value on sale, good value at reg price. I wavered on size after reading reviews. Bought my normal size, and glad I did. This is sized for layers underneath. At 5'9 145lb, a medium is perfect to throw over a sport coat, sweater, or thick hoodie. If you live in a warmer climate, intend to wear it without bulky layers, and like a tailored trim fit -then size down, otherwise order your regular size. IMO the plaid or other dark colors look better than the light grey which looks cheap. It was a steal at 52 bucks, and still above avg value at 90. Very happy with the purchase, would buy again.

Warm overcoat

The coat is heavy, so it keeps my husband warm on 20 degree days. It fits over layers, even a suit coat. It is a great length for getting in and out of the car.

Weird Pink Hue, Not Beige or Tan

I really wanted to like this coat. In the end, it's just too close to pink!

Absolutely AWESOME Coat !

First of all...I literally sat for 30 minutes, at my desk, in my home office, trying to choose between this coat and another coat that I wanted to get. I was torn between the two because I read the reviews on both products and the pro and cons were about 50-50 on both products. Now the other coat was $20 LESS than this coat, but this coat, as I was looking at the picture, just kept my attention! Finally, after 30 minutes I just told myself, I need to make a decision! So I went ahead and choose this coat, telling myself that if I didn't like it or if any of the "con" reviews were true I was returning this coat ASAP! When this coat finally showed up at my house and I tried it on.....well.....let's just say that I was standing in my full-length mirror with this coat for 15 MINUTES ....yes....15 MINUTES...I was standing there, with this coat, one of my favorite black fedora hats, looking at myself in this coat with a big ass smile on my face! LOL this coat was warm, it fit very well. I bought a Large, and I am 6'1", and 200 lbs. I love the buttons, there were very sturdy. the 2 outside pockets were nice and deep, as well as the one inside pocket. Now I will say that my ONLY issue with this coat is that I really wish it had 2 INSIDE POCKETS ! Oh man I wish it had two inside pockets. So Amazon, if you ever make another version of this coat...PLEASE put 2 INSIDE POCKETS! I am so GLAD that I choose and purchased this coat. I have already put the grey version of this coat in my cart and found a nice gray fedora hat, with the center dent, 4" crown, and 2" snap brim to go with it !

Nice but catches all the hair

I have been looking for a good car coat for a while when I found this one. I tried it and found that it's a very nice coat. It fits well, it's comfortable, it's warm, especially when it's buttoned up, and it looks nice. However, since it's a somewhat course wool, it catches all of the hair from anyone/anything around you and has to be cleaned very regularly.

Toasty

Nearly excellent coat. It fits well, looks good, and is very warm. The only complaint is the collar is very scratchy if you don't have a collared shirt or scarf. I had a cloth band put in and now it is an excellent coat.

Fits a big guy and keeps him stylish and warm

I love talking in third person so here's my review in third person: A big guy looked for a wool peacoat for several years but he couldn't find what he was looking for. He thought it wouldn't fit and he thought it would cost too much money and his hope was wearing thin. Then one day he saw that Amazon was making a car coat, a much more stylish and professional version of the pea coat. He thought, pish posh, Amazon does amazing working but could they pull this off? Rubbish. He took a leap of faith, hopeful that it would be something worth it's salt. The day came, and so did the coat! Surely, this is the wrong coat he thought as he held it up and saw that it looked very similar to an expensive name brand wool coat he had several years and pounds ago. Low and behold it fit and he was in love again with a gorgeous coat that fit well (but a little snug after the holiday binge). All's well that ends well for this person via this third person. 10/10 would tell this story again.

Good for the money

Nice quality, only thing that let it down is the collar which is cut fine but it doesn't hold it's shape. Good warm winter coat otherwise.

Low quality and horrible fitting

The jacket just looks cheap, from the fabric to the fitting. The sleeves are very wide, the fabric looks cheap and it doesn’t fit. The collar doesn’t stand any it looses the shape easy. Not worth it for the original price.
