Runs small, shrinks in wash

Purchased this for my dad who wears tall sizes. He was super excited to possibly have a new source for shirts, since tall sizes are getting harder to find. While he's happy with the shirt and loves the teal color, he says it could be "taller", aka it's a bit short for a tall size. It also shrunk a bit in the wash so perhaps size up from your usual size! He also is bothered by the front pockets sticking up funny. Otherwise he's pleased with the quality and wears it a lot.

Good utilitarian shirt

This shirt isn't going to win style awards, but is good for use where the two pockets come in handy. I used a double pocketed shirt the last time I traveled internationally and it was really helpful. Passport in one pocket and then I could put ear plugs or ear buds, pen, a little bit of money, or my phone in the other depending on what I was doing while in transit. This will work well for that as it as my passport fits the pockets and the pockets have that little extra fabric on the sides and bottom so they can expand a bit. The other time I use pocketed shirts is when doing yard work. I like to have my phone in my shirt pocket instead of my pants for easy access and if my hands are dirty I can manage getting to the phone in my shirt vs pants much better. It fits fine, and unlike other brands, if I go up to large size, the gut area is not a balloon. Some brands put a lot of room in the stomach area to fit more people. This is more normal. However, I have to go to large because the upper torso area is tighter than on other brands. I have medium Goodthreads shirt, but it feels a bit restrictive around my arms. The arm holes seem smaller so I can feel fabric in my armpit and I'm don't massive arms by any measure. This in large is fine, but tighter than a typical large from other brands. One ding is this fabric is not the best looking, at least in the light khaki. Straight out of the dryer, other fabric looks a lot better. This gets wrinkly and not as usable without ironing or steaming. The pictures of the models show some of this, even though those shirts were definitely ironed for the photo shoots. Other colors seem to have less of this in the pictures.

"Tall" is still too short.

Its a well-made shirt and definitely appears to be of high quality. I love the color on my husband but the "tall" length is still not tall enough for a man who is 6'4 while the rest fits perfectly. If he raises his arms in the air its still too short to maintain coverage. Buttons and this indigo color make it look a little..."prison guard"?... its definitely a little more modern as opposed to a "classic" button down you might wear.

Great Shirt!

I recently purchased this shirt and overall I'm happy with my purchase. The shirt is made of 98% cotton and 2% elastane, and has a comfortable, lightweight fit that's perfect for everyday wear. The design features 2 large cargo chest pockets, which are convenient for carrying small items. The only negative comment I have is that the pocket flap can be a little inconvenient at times - it tends to get in the way when I'm trying to reach into the pocket. However, this is a minor issue and doesn't affect my overall satisfaction with the shirt. I would recommend this shirt to others looking for a casual, comfortable wardrobe essential.

Lightweight shirt for warm weather

Nice looking shirt that will keep you cool when the weather turns warm. Lightweight and breathable cotton for comfort. Just slightly snug, probably due to my holiday weight gain! Really like the dual pockets with button closures. Not sure about the long term quality - we will have to see after multiple washings. But I have no reason to believe that it won't last a long time. I hope so since I really like this shirt.

Order Up One Size

This basic Goodthreads utility shirt is decent but very undersized. I recommend ordering a size up from your normal size to get a good fit. It features two pockets that are fairly slim and feature a snap closure. The shirt is on the thin side (a good thing) so it's perfect for warmer weather. It's a decent shirt but ultimately the sizing is all wrong. Unless you like a very snug fit, order up one size.

Sporty, Breathable and we’ll made

This Goodthreads button-up shirt is attractive, breathable and stylish. I love it. The color variations offered (earth tones and prints). Shirt comes with two front cargo button pockets. The extra stitching across the shirt is bright and durable. The collar is comfortable and the material is soft, but not too soft. The design looks dressy enough for lots of occasions and options. The cotton material makes it a great choice for summer semi-casual wear. I’m expecting to get more of the varieties offered. Seems to take the wash ok, I’ll update on longevity.

I REALLY LIKE IT

I had a sudden wish to get a camouflage affect short sleeved shirt that didn't look exactly like the ones that imitate the big splodges of colour as seen on military attire. I searched on Amazon and there it was. It was delivered the very next day and the XXLT sized one I'd ordered has sufficient material on it to tuck into my trousers on the off-chance that I may want to do that. The finer application of the green, khaki and black camouflage affect is quite nice, and the thinness of the material makes the shirt ideal for hot summer days. It appears to be well stitched together with amply sized breast pockets so there are no complaints from me. Eamonn
