A 5 Star Shirt Loses A Star Due To Difficulty In Determining Size

I know that I give mostly 5 Star ratings, and I do that because I genuinely enjoy or enjoy seeing my wife enjoy the products that I have purchased on Amazon. I try to take everything into account before coming up with a rating. This shirt that I bought for my wife tested me. She genuinely enjoyed the look (as in the pattern), the lightweight fabric, and the length. The only thing that causes me to remove a star from a 5 Star rating is the fact that the sizing was off by a size, and I really struggled to get it correct. Before I bought this shirt, I read through all of the reviews that dealt with sizing issues and they went back and forth from fits too big to fits too small. My wife normally wears a Large, so I decided to go up one to an extra-large and hoped for the best. Well… Unfortunately, even that was still not big enough. I should have gone with a double extra-large, but was afraid that the shirt would swallow her up. She didn’t want me to go through the hassle of sending it back for an exchange so she just kept it, and wears it, even though it’s just a tad snug on her. It’s strange how it’s so difficult to not be able to trust that the size that you order is going to fit correctly. Anyhow, based on the quality of the material, the look, the feel, and the length, I give this product 5 stars, but am forced to remove one due to the aforementioned sizing issue. It’s still a nice shirt and would still recommend it. The shipping was expedient even without Prime and the packing was professional 4 Stars! If you found this review helpful, pleased let me know…

Super cute shirt

This shirt fits great. I mainly bought to wrap around my waist for dance class but it's awesome to throw on on the way to the gym and after. Looks great after many washings in cold water and I usually hand to dry. I love it.

It’s okay. I don’t foresee it lasting due to shrinkage and fading. Would I buy again? For the price, yes.

Looks like a flannel but more lightweight like a shirt

Basically it's as described: a comfortable lightweight shirt that has a flannel look (is not a flannel though). I ended up wearing it a lot for work and washing it often, it's holding up. Would be 5 stars with even just one pocket or two would be even better. I'd like if this lightweight flannel look one came in pink too - this one is red and black.

Not a flannel but still nice

It is of note that this is not a flannel despite being advertised as such. The material is thin, soft cotton, like an old bedsheet. With that being said, I still kept it. It’s still cute and it’s very comfortable. Just as long as you don’t wear it for warmth - if you’re indoors or you wear a coat or it’s not terribly cold out, etc. - the shirt will be fine.

Not flannel as we know it.

While this is a nice button down shirt that somewhat looks like flannel, it is not really flannel. It’s a lightweight shirt.

Lightweight cotton, standard fit

The cotton is light weight, and feels like cotton. After a single wash and machine dry, it was softer and didn't shrink. I appreciate it for the price point, but you'll need to order it plenty large to keep from gaping in the chest if you plan to button it. It is not going to be winter weight warm, if you're looking for that, but it's perfect year round for climate controlled environments. The fit seems average. I generally must wear an XL to accommodate my shoulders in button ups, that's what I ordered and it fits well. I ordered two patterns and the sizing was consistent.

It's ok..

Material was thinner than expected, but it's still quite soft and not see-through. A bit snug around the waist and hips, so tends to ride up a little when sitting but ok across the shoulders. I would imagine a larger busted lady might struggle doing the buttons up at the front though. Still good value for money - bought it to wear when working from home, so it's perfect for that. If it was more expensive I would have definitely sent it back though.

this product doesn't have enough fabric behind the buttons to cover your chest - there is a gap; it's so cheaply made the manufacturer hasn't ensured there's enough fabric where the buttons join - my underwear and chest is always clearly visible. so shoddy.

Nice shirt.

Very comfortable fabric. Not thick but not thin either. It will be great even in warmer months with shorts. Fit is exactly as described. I am size 12 and bought M. It is more fitted rather than oversized. So, if you are larger in the chest area get size bigger. Or if you prefer loose fit in general. Colour wise, ot is slightly darker than on the photos. I like it.

A good buy, but...

The shirt fits well, is comfortable and the fabric - as described - is not brilliant but a fairly good lightweight flannel. I would have given 5 stars, but a button fell off when I first tried it on. Easy to sew back on, but irritating.

Comfy to wear looks good

Fits a little big but I am small and most clothes are the same .I am a seamstress so I can alter it. Nice soft fabric and comfy to wear. Washed well. Every wear over leggings or jeans. Good price. Would buy another .
