Great shirt!

The denim is soft and lightweight, yet denim sturdy. The fit is true to size. However the look may trick some people because the shoulder seams sit down off the shoulders. This gives the shirt a more casual feel. What I love the most is how long it is! In this age of leggings, it sits below the crotch in the front and below the butt in the back - love it!

Sizing was WAY off…I had previously ordered another shirt same size from Goodthreads & it was perfect; this was HUGE!!

Not for me

Returned the shirt....the sleeve seam attaching to the shirt was way down the arm. Not an attractive look, which was not apparent on the model.

True to size

Comfortable top. It's not really oversized, so if you want to achieve that look I would buy one size up from your regular size. I'm 5'1 125lbs and the small fits.

Soft Fabric, Comfortable, Nicely Made!

This is a very nice shirt from GoodThreads by Amazon! The denim fabric is soft and has a tiny bit of stretch to it. There's no break-in period necessary to enjoy a soft, comfortable feel against your skin. I did give it a quick steaming before wearing and wrinkles were released easily. It's impeccably sewn with metal buttons that lend to its casual styling. I especially like the center back pleat, under the yoke, as it gives the back more interest. Before trying it on, it looked like it would be a bit too large, but not the case! I ordered my usual size, Medium, and love how this shirt fits me. I wouldn't want it any smaller. For size reference I'm 127lbs, 5'6 and 34D in the chest. This shirt is versatile for me. I'll enjoy it tucked into my high waisted denim as well as wearing unbuttoned as a top layer for a different look. This is a nice staple to add to my wardrobe as it's pretty much an all season garment. Bottom line? Nice quality, nice style, nice price! I've posted some photos to give you a closer look and hope that they, along with my experience, helps you out a bit with your choice. Thank you!

Key clothing item - versatile

This is a fantastic denim shirt by Goodthreads. It’s super soft and broken in from the first wash. I’d say the oversize is as expected. I’m a long torso medium and I sometimes order up if I am worried about sizing. There was no need to do so for this shirt and I think a large size would have been way too large. I can wear this open and layered over a t-shirt or as is tucked in a buttoned up. It also layers nicely under a sweater. This is just such a versatile item. I will continue to wash the shirt in cold and lay flat to dry. A quick ironing is all it needs. I look forward to wearing this all winter long. Make sure you wash this before first wearing as instructed or you could have dye transfer issues.

Oversized shirt can be worn as a shacket

This is a well-made, 98% cotton-2% Elastane, button-down shirt. There are two chest pockets. The cotton fabric on this shirt is thicker than some (feels like lightweight denim) and has a soft finish. I like to wear mine as a shacket with a t-shirt underneath for cooler weather. One thing to note is that the shirt fits better on taller people with a longer torso because it is long, especially in the back. It also has an oversized fit, so you should order a size down if you want a snugger fit. The tag recommends that the shirt be washed before wearing to prevent color transfer. Instructions state to machine wash on warm with like colors and to tumble dry on medium.

Super cute & good quality

This shirt is super cute, fabric is really soft and good quality. The color is great and I love everything about it. It fits well and it's very comfy. Con: even though it came properly folded and packed, the shirt was lightly stained. I put it in the wash and most of the stain came out, but I wasn't able to get rid of all of it. My husband couldn't see it, and I probably only found the faint stain because I was looking for it. I will still wear it because the shirt is really nice.

neck too tight and shirt came stained

I liked the idea of a shirt that has that washed out blue look to it like it has been sun bleached. The collar is very small. I cant do the top button up and my neck is very slender. Because the collar is too small, the shirt feels kind of bunched up over my shoulders and I have to have the neck open 3 buttons to get the shoulders to look less bunched up. This will need ironing every time you wear it as the material is very floppy. Those tiny metal buttons are a bit fiddly. The bottom hem has that curved styling that looks nice untucked. The big downer for me is , it came with a yellow stain on the sleeve straight out of the packaging. I have ramped up the colour on the photo so you can see where the stain is. The picture with the button is closer to the true colour.

Good Autumn to Spring Top

First impression was a decent looking casual top for cooler days. Looked to be decent quality and went in the pile for packing for a Christmas trip. Then my wife decided to be sure it fitted OK before packing and found she really struggled to get the buttons undone. We got to the point of wondering how they sewed them on while in the button holes as it seemed impossible to get them through. Eventually got them open and the result was that the shirt was a good fit allowing for the normal adding a little for Far Eastern manufacture. Hopefully the button holes will stretch a little with use. The shirt was used a couple of times on the rip and has proved a useful item to travel with and it will get a lot more use now we are home.

Oversized, go at least one size down

This is very good quality shirt, pretty looking, with metal buttons from top to bottom, even the sleeve cuffs. Fabric is lovely, soft and strong. Sizing is very generous- ordered size M shirt and it still to big on me, but better than L would look like, as I usually order L. Checking size chart is essential here, if ypu dont want too baggy clothing. Even this M look like generous L... The hem is nice round. Shirt will need some ironing/steaming to remove creases. But firstly it needs to be washed. Shirt is made of 98% cotton and 2% elastan. It can be washed at 40⁰C in machine and tumble dried in medium heat. Can recommend this shirt but check the sizing first as its quite oversized..

Several stains, shame as it’s a nice shirt.

This shirt is a fab bleached denim style reminds me of the 80s. Sadly as I opened the shirt out to photograph as you’ll see it is stained in several places which is super disappointing especially on such a light shirt. The stains are a yellow colour and cannot be missed so if I can’t get them out in the wash the shirt is unusable. If it wasn’t stained it would have got 5 stars as the material feels good quality, all the stitching is neat and I like the small buttons. As it is I would not purchase again nor recommend to others.
