Light weight and bright shiny gold

Layering necklaces is quite the thing now and this necklace is nice since it comes layered so it only has one clasp. It cuts down on the tangling that multiple necklaces often do while being worn. It’s a bright shiny gold. I generally prefer a more muted gold, but I think that’s a personal presence. It would also be nice if the extender chain had a charm or larger link at the end of it. That way if you hook the clasp over the extender chain, as I do multiple times before I am able to get the clasp hooked into a link, it slides down and the necklace is stopped from falling off by the larger link or charm at the end. Nicer fashion necklaces have this feature. It is lightweight and that makes wearing it nice. The style of the 2 sizes of paper clip links is very pretty. I took off a star because the clasp is so hard to work. It is the round kind of clasp, where the piece in the opening is pulled back into the hollow part of the clasp, instead of a lobster claw type clasp, where the piece in the opening swings inward on the clasp. The round clasps are always harder to work than lobster claw clasps because of the way they work, plus the opening on this clasp is very small and getting a link into it is quite tedious.

Pretty, But Best For Slender Necks!

I received the Amazon Essentials 14K Gold or Sterling Silver Plated 2 Row Chain Layer Necklace Amazon Essentials 14K Gold or Sterling Silver Plated 2 Row Chain Layer Necklace. This is a pretty 2 Row Chain Necklace/Choker. It is a pretty gold tone, but it is very light weight. The shortest strand fit on me like a 16 inch choker would. The larger Paperclip linked chain hangs about a half inch below the smaller one. I'd say this necklace would be best for a very slender adult neck, or a younger slender neck. It is pretty.

Pretty paper clip style necklace

This necklace is pretty. I really like the paper clip style of the necklace and that there’s two different sizes to the two different strands. They look really good together without seeming like they are a set. I’m not very good at layering so I appreciate that they have done the work for me and paired two necklaces that complement one another so well. The cons were: 1- The gold is a little bright from my taste. 2- The clasp is a little difficult for me to fasten without help. 3- It got tangled after wearing a while.

Pretty necklace, lame packaging

Pretty necklace! The color is nice and I like the style. It just comes in a plastic zipper bag, so if I was giving it as a gift, I would want to buy a box for it. The links on the extender chain and the clasp are both pretty small, so it can be a bit tricky to get on. Very nice otherwise!

Looks nice however it is tiny and flimsy

The necklace is very tiny and flimsy so not sure how long will it hold together, the gold plating might wear off over time, revealing the base metal underneath. It did not meet your expectations for quality or durability. Suggest that the manufacturer use a thicker layer of gold or using a different base metal.

Cute

This is a cute basic, double layered necklace. I got it in the gold and I can’t say the gold is super realistic looking even though it is supposedly real gold plated but it isn’t a garish orange like some. It comes in a small plastic bag so is not giftable as is and honestly, I’m not sure it’s suitable as a gift at all, it’s more a “buy for yourself for fun layering” kind of necklace and not quite nice enough to pull off as a meaningful gift. I will use it but I would not buy again.

I like!

I am no fine jewelry expert but this doesn't appear or feel ultra cheap. It is a darker shade of gold than my typical preference, and had it been lighter--I would have absolutely given it 5 stars. It sits and layers nicely with other pieces and it is easy to put on. Definitely consider buying this before you spend more on a more expensive gold coated necklace.

Nice looking necklace, but coating kind of ruins it

This is a nice looking "paper clip" necklace. I like the look with two different sizes of links for the two different length chains. These are on a single C clasp at the back, with an extender. It's a nice looking necklace, but it has an anti-tarnish coating that makes it feel sort of plastic-y, and also even changes the appearance of the metal a bit.
