Good quality and solid.

Researched and compared Le crueset, lodge and other brands and options for enameled cast iron. Went for this one. Price is much better than LC and quality seems every bit as good. It’s a little heavier but I’m overall very happy with quality to price. Color is exactly what we expected. Cooks evenly and great. No seasoning required and non stick with a little olive oil.

Immediately chipped on the handle

Ok so beautiful pan with 4 stars , I have the French brand everyone loves, I use them 3-4 times a week and they look brand new still, except the tan color the white turns from use. Right now I’m sitting at 4 stars because it could have been a simple one spot defect, and it’s not enough for me to do an exchange on a pan this price. So I got the pan yesterday, I watched the guy set it down carefully, I made baked pasta in it last night. So I brought everything to 350 degrees after warming to 150 , I have induction stove so I can guarantee you it was 159 warming for 5 min, then 350 to cook hamburger. Then down to 250 to add sauce and noodles. Then the 375 degree oven for 30 minutes. Some time during the over a small chip flew off the handle corner. Ok cons . Obviously the chipping, but I don’t mind for what I paid unless it gets crazy or on the inside. This pan is less than half the size of the biggest French one I have, yet weighs more. Pros. The price and what the pan is and does. It’s a great size it also lets me know that I do indeed have uses for the $400 dollar French one. if this one gets horrible I can purchase one. Most likely it’s going to go to my neighbor in a few months and I’ll get the brand I want. This is a great pan for baked spaghetti, you can fit a pound, chicken baked over rice in the oven, you can easily fit 5+ chicken pieces. You can probably shallow fry some chicken, pork chops ect. It’s a versatile pan you can use a lot. If you can’t afford the fancy ones these will do for now.

I have a 6 quart cast iron soup pot that I love. I have wanted a smaller version and I saw this. It was like Christmas, it's just what I hoped for. Perfect for pancakes, frying chicken, bacon, a steak. Honey, I'm so happy. Thank you Amazon. ????

Heavy pan - great heat distribution - terrible to clean

This is a very heavy pan and really does have great heat distribution but it is terrible to clean. I bought the teal and love the color. Everything I cook in it really, really sticks. I haven't burned anything in it but feel if I did it would most likely ruin the pan. Do not buy this unless you are in good shape and can left it because it really is heavy. I love it for braising but don't like having to clean it.

Just as good as Le Creuset.

I have a few Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron cookware. I wanted to get this particular Covered Casserole skillet from the French brand but found it too expensive to buy now days. I bought this skillet from Amazon Basic in red so it would match my Le Creuset brand. I love it. It is exactly like using the French brand cookware. Buy it if you want to save money and get the same results as if you had used the Le Creuset brand. You won't regret it.

It’s ok

It came packaged well but it had a little chip on the side. Nothing too big to worry about. It was delivered in a timely matter. I don’t know if it’s due to the portable stove I used but it got hotter in the middle but overall it’s a nice size and it cleans easily. Update: The food started sticking to the pan. As the instructions state let the pan heat up before adding oil. I cooked some potatoes and it started sticking to the pot and even though I’m not using metal to cook with it getting scrapes on it. I’m not sure if it’s like this with all the pans or if I got a defective one.

Omg I love this pan . It’s the perfect size , it heats evenly and you can make wonderful meals in it for family and friends. It cleans so easily and you can place it right on the table then if there is any leftovers just put it directly into the fridge . It seems to be of excellent quality as well.

This looks so nice on my stove I don’t want to put it in the cupboard Really attractive, quite heavy as expected for cast iron but not too heavy Cooks really evenly and is great on the stove top or in the oven Much better value than a certain French make. Easy to wash up, very happy with my purchase

Great but arrived chipped

This a lovely casserole dish & I've wanted a white one for ages. It's lighter in weight than my other ones which is a good point for me. Unfortunately mine arrived chipped. The packaging looked like it had been opened & it wasn't wrapped properly inside. I haven't sent it back as I wanted to use it & it took a while to arrive. I've cooked with it this evening & it hasn't stained. I would have given it 5 stars if it hadn't have arrived damaged.

Absolute Quality

Weighs a tonne but is so versatile and easy to clean. Regularly gets used for one put pasta and chicken meals for the whole family and retains heat for a very long time. Very heavy but a great item, and generally easy to clean due to the ceramic coating. Highly recommend

Love it you can cook lots of different meals in it. I've used it so much since I got it. You will love it
