Nice Bed, Impossible to Get Clean
This is a great bed and my cats absolutely love it (even found my giant dog trying to curl up in it)... but it's pretty hard to get clean. Instructions say to spot clean it, but if you've ever had pets you know that's not an option. I took a risk and threw it in the wash (against manufacturer instructions, I know). It actually survived the wash almost entirely unscathed, but it was still stained pretty bad. Whatever the inner fabric is, it grabs pet hair and does NOT let go. I don't really care since I just want it to be sanitized, but if you want your pet bed to look pristine forever... look elsewhere.

Good
Good bed, currently well liked by the cats. If for whatever reason your cat doesn't initially like it try turning it inside out. Cats are weird.

Bed CAN be washed
Not sure why the label says it can't be washed. I actually never saw that label, only saw in some reviews here that the label states it's unwashable. I've washed this bed countless times in my stackable machine with no issues. My dog passed one week ago today. She loved this bed and used it daily for almost four years. I can't say if it is actually self-warming, though she seemed to stay comfy. She was a small dog, a Yorkie poodle, so got cold easily, but always seemed warm enough in her bed. Even after 3.75 years and many washings, the bed is in good condition. I will probably donate it to my local Humane Society. Though, the thought of getting rid of it makes me feel sad. But I like the idea of another dog benefiting from a nice, warm bed.

Sides flatten down too easily
This is soft and the middle is easy to fluff up when it needs it. My dog loves sleeping in it when I am working at my desk. My problem with it is that the sides flatten down easily. My small dog loves to sleep with her head propped on the sides or on blankets. After about a month, this bed was to the point I could no longer fluff up the sides. I ended up buying some small stuffed animals to put in with her - she moves them where she wants them and uses those a her pillows instead of being able to lay her head on the sides as she prefers. IMHO, this needs a lot more filling in the sides to keep the sides from collapsing. Otherwise, it would have been a five star review.

Community cat I feed loves it!
Thick & comfy. The community cat I feed loves it! I took it out of his little house for a couple of days (to let it dry after it got damp due to rain). When I brought it back , he couldn't wait for me to put it back in his house--he jumped right in it! The sides are nice because they help protect him from drafts, and also are flexible enough to conform to the inside of his little house. The cat is about 13-15 pounds & the bed has plenty of room for him. The self-healing feature seems to work well. While the cat really likes the self-heating pad I put in his house while the bed dried, he seemed ecstatic to get his bed back!

Cat loves it!
Our kitty loves her beds. Has 2 of them. Vacuum well. Only downside is they cannot be washed.

Absolutely The Best Cat Bed!
I can’t begin to express how much my Chloe Cat loves this cat bed. It’s so plush, soft and super padded for her comfort. It’s the best purchased in many decades. Chloe Cat loves to make cookies on the inside fleece lining which is hard on pet beds but I haven’t had any loose fleece material come out. This is the most important point when choosing a pet bed. She’s a big girl at 16 lbs but still has lots of room for her blankets & stuffed babies in the grey Rectangle, 24 x 20 x 7 Inches bed. I keep Chloe’s cat bed on the sofa next to me. Haven’t washed it yet but would be willing to purchase a new one every 2-3 months if it doesn’t fit in my stackable washer & dryer because its that good. There’s a reason for so many, many five star ratings so I’d highly recommend this product!

attractive, soft, cozy, a great bed for my puppy to snuggle up in
My 1 y.o. Pom mix puppy loves his new bed. He usually sleeps on my bed with me, but I am temporarily sleeping in a hospital bed as I am recovering from 2 major joint replacement surgeries; so, he frequently kept tring to sleep on my legs, which made it uncomfortable for me. Despite my love 4 my little guy, I needed a solution that allows him to be on my bed, without being on my new joints. This bed fits beautifully at the foot of my bed, between the bottom of my deep mattress pad and the bed frame foot board. And, it gives my legs a respite, while providing my puppy with a snuggly bed that offers him the security of being surrounded by the sherpa-like sides that feel like being wrapped up in mommy's arms. In fact, he is sleeping in the bed right now, sawing ZZZs. What better solution could we ask for? Though I couldn't comment on durability yet, the bed looks well-made and able to hold up to the rigors of a puppy. I'll try to update when I can comment on durability after we have had it for awhile.

Perfect bed to keep my dog warm
Bought this 61cm bed for my chihuahua and she is happy with it. Comfortable wool lining and plenty of padding for her to cuddle up in. Well worth the money. The 61cm bed will fit in my washing machine but the larger beds will have to be done in a larger machine. Overall 10/10 Update after 3 months Bed was so good i bought another one and after 3 months and being washed weekly the bed is still holding up well looking new dog loves it as i cant get her out of it . The medium 76cm bed just fitted in my 9kg washing machine. As for people saying the bed is not machine washable i have washed it weekly for 3 months and its still held its shape and is as comfy as it was when new so i can confirm its machine washable.

A win with my cat!
I bought this bed because I was worried about my elderly cat now that we are trying not to turn the heating on during the winter. He was wandering the house looking for a warm, draft-free place to sleep, and his joints were visibly stiffer. This bed seems to have done the trick - it was out of the box for all of six minutes before he curled up inside and he hasn't moved since! He didn't even bother with his usual trick of sitting in the cardboard box first! It is made from a soft, fluffy material (similar to sherpa fleece) which looks like it should be plenty cosy, and the sides are high enough to block drafts. The bottom part is nicely padded and looks comfortable. I have mine sat atop another cushion for warmth (we have uncovered floorboards with a cellar beneath, and the floor gets chilly! but on carpet I imagine it would be just fine). It rustles slightly (very quietly) when moved, but this bothers neither me nor my cat, so isn't a problem. It is a large bed, which could easily fit two cats, but then again it is technically made for dogs! It looks well made, with no loose threads or obvious defects. It smelled quite strongly of chemicals when it first came out of the packaging, but that dissipated quite quickly, and didn't seem to bother my cat at all. The label says "do not wash", but it also says it is made from "100% polyester", which usually survives the washing machine just fine, so I will be washing it anyway, on a cool temperature. I suspect it will be fine. I wouldn't risk the tumble drier though - that might spoil the self-warming layer! Overall, I (and my cat!) am very pleased with this product, and for £25, I will be buying others for around the house!

Our cats love these - but NOT washable according to the labelling.
We have 4 Bengal cats and had to buy two of these beds as no one really want to share much so there is always a tussle for who is in the beds. Safe to say our cats love these and spend hours snoozing in them (as cats do). Update - April 2021 - Having had these a few weeks now it is safe to say that they are a massive hit with our tribe of Bengals. Both beds are occupied for most of the day, and sharing is generally not permitted except under extreme sufferance and possibly a gentle growl or three. Our cats look extremely comfy and are generally found upside down and snoring. UPDATE - June 2021 - the labels attached to both of these beds clearly state ‘Do not wash’. The washing symbols on the label covering cleaning and drying ALL have crosses through them so the product description is wrong. Four stars removed and will now try to return them as missold.

Great for the money
My dogs like this bed so it must be comfy as Lurchers know how to sniff out a nice bed. Despite incessant scraping and nesting it hasn't shed at all; another bonus. Despite the light colour it has remained relatively clean looking. All in all a great bed for the money. I've spent a lot more on beds that are of poorer quality. However, as far as I can tell you cannot wash it which means that when it gets really filthy it will have to be binned which is a shame and as far as I'm concerned it's only fault. I have given 1 star for it being chew proof as although my hounds aren't chewers, the type of fabric that it's made of would not stand up to chewing. EDIT: have now bought a second one of these as previous one eventually failed a sniff test and as they can't be washed I've had to chuck it. This isn't a big deal as I find that most washable beds have had it after a few sessions in the machine anyway. The previoius one lasted a good amount of time and remained a popular bed amongst my pack.

Good price and good quality
Although this bed is fairly cheap it seems well made, I have already washed it and it has kept its shape very well. The sides are very supportive which is what I wanted but the base is thin, this is easily resolved with an extra blanket but I may buy some memory foam to help support my older dog. But I'm surprisingly very pleased.
