Order Extra!! Round up!!!
Well, you get what you pay for I suppose. I needed 54 hinges to replace on my 27 kitchen cabinets. Lucky for me they come on packages of 20, so I had six extra. One of them came without a hinge pin and three of them had wonky springs sticking out right where the hinge would need to open and close. I was shocked that these broken hinges made it into a package and were shipped, from AMAZON BASICS! Not the quality I expected from a "reputable' company. The rest went on perfectly, except that some of the little baggies of screws (one baggie per door) were randomly missing one short or one long screw. Again fortunately I had more than I actually needed, and as I progressed through the job, it turns out some of them actually had more screws than was needed. It was not really worth a returning hassle, since there were messed up hinges in each of the 3 boxes I had ordered. I don't really have the extra I anticipated. You will want to order more than you need.

I got the wrong ones...and I missed the return deadline.
Ugh. I ordered these -- satin nickel --along with the knobs - before I went away on a long trip. I started the project by replacing all the knobs in the house. The knobs look great! Easy-peasy job! So I figured I'd finish up on the hinges when I got back from my trip. That looked more challenging. So then I get back from my trip -- and I find out I ordered the wrong hinges! And -- I blew the return deadline. Shucks. The picture that made me decide on this set of hinges instead of the other? It's not clear. Don't make my mistake! Whichever set of hinges you *think* you need - choose the other one. I had two other people double check what I ordered. They both said they would have made the same mistake, going by the diagram. To make sure you order what you need, TAKE THE HINGE OFF YOUR CURRENT DOOR. That's really the only way to compare adequately. If you look at the hinge ON THE DOOR and look at the Amazon diagram, you'll make the same mistake we all made. So now, I have a box of 50 hinges I can't use. Nuts. Can someone at Amazon cut me a break and let me return them for the correct hinges? If the answer is "NO" - I understand. I should have checked this before I left town. And someone wants to make me an offer on a box of 50 hinges - I paid 44.95 for them. Hit me up on Twitter - my handle is @maniactive . Listen - the knobs for this set look great! I was looking forward to the hinges, but now I'm totally stuck on this project. :(

Great value for the money, nice match with the handles.
You just need to look at the measurements closely on the product description before you buy them. They were right on for my doors. The screws were smaller in thickness and length than my originals from the late 70's but still worked fine. I've never done this before and some of the previously drilled holes where the hinge attaches to the cabinet were not straight off in height for uniformity so I used round tooth picks to fill their holes then just drilled my chosen placement after using an ice pick to get the dimple for starting my drill bit (they like to move around if you don't use that and even then still do so it takes some finesse). Not too difficult. Part of the uncertainty was the self-closing nature of the hinge makes it tilt in just a bit so I took the ice pick or screw driver tip and placed it between the hinge body and mount hole piece to make it flat before choosing my dimple spot. They look nice and I gave them a 4 for sturdiness because I could see the hinge metal is somewhat easy to bend. I think they are zinc some sort of plating or coating. Not sure. Still I found them very nice and certainly worth the money.

Great replacement for hinges from the 1960's!
I couldn't believe these fit in the place of the hinges that have been in our kitchen since the 1960's! We recently repainted our kitchen cabinets and our old hinges needed to go. What a surprise that I found these and they fit perfectly. Be aware that if you are replacing your "antique" hinges, these have a slightly bigger hinge bolt. They fit exactly into the holes in the cabinet and in the door. However, the bigger bolt makes it so that where two doors meet - they will overlap. I needed to sand each door where it met another door. I believe this would be the case with all newer hinges - our old hinges weren't as thick as these. As for material - these hinges are very well made but the screws weren't very high quality. I used my own screws in a 2 areas where I felt I needed stronger and slightly thicker screws. Overall, I am very happy with the result. The hinges look so good with the white cabinets as well as the brown cabinets.

Perfect match to the old hinges. Some of the screws that were supplied were bad but had enough extra to make it work.

Inconsistent quality
Price per unit is competitive with others but quality is inconsistent, some can close cabinet doors and others can not.

Make sure whether you need inset or overlay
I didn't know there was a difference and ordered overlay. Returned and bought the inset. Really nice and look great. Fit perfectly where the old hinges were (kitchen cabinets).

Can’t beat the price!
Bought these to replace hinges on older style cabinets and they are just what I needed. Attached a close up picture to help you see if these are the kind you’re looking for. I bought these about a year ago and they've been up for about 9 months.. Pros: - Inexpensive - Packaged well...arrived in perfect condition. The picture is a 10 pack and as others have noted , it's 10 pairs of hinges so 20 in the box - Look great (for old-style hinges) Cons: - The screws could be a little stronger (have to be careful not to strip). Overall these are a great deal - five stars because I don’t think you can beat these for the price, even if you have to get different screws. Cheap and Solid
Seems to be almost no difference from the same looking product bought at home depot or lowes for three times the price. Installed on my kitchen. Looks great!

Good value
They do the job. Definitely a better deal than buying in store. We have fairly heavy cabinets and they're holding well. Not the sturdiest hinges we've used but for the average cabinet they work well.

Accurate description, nice fit and finish
Thank you Amazon for selling a great product at a great price. We had some failing hinges on our old kitchen cabinets. After surfing Amazon for duplicate replacement hinges I found AmazonBasics carries a nearly identical hinge. They fit perfect, look good and will slowly replacing all our Kitchen hinges. Thanks again!

Problem with the screw count
Great hinges, my only complaint is with the packages of screws. Some were missing some. The package I just opened had 3 screws for the cap I et face instead of the 4 it should have a different the screws for the hinge to door had 3 instead of 6. I have found this in a few packages now. Also when I ordered the hinges I did not realize it had 2 to a package. Therefore I ordered to many.

It said they weren’t self, soft closing, and they are .
The hinges are hard to put on, they are very stiff. Not all the screws were supplied. Will keep but I’m disappointed.
