Great addition to our yard

I like that it's light, used stabilizers included plus a couple rocks. It looks nice & is a good depth. I had another cement birdbath but hardly ever saw birds use it. A bunch of bluebirds were in this one constantly!!! So much fun to watch them.

It is somewhat as described in the product description, except the photo is a little misleading regarding its true color. It is actually an oxidized copper green color, with areas of lighter and darker color, which I like very much. The one close up photo of the base in the product description is the most accurate one. Even though it is plastic, it looks almost like metal from a distance. (SEE PHOTOS - Note that the solar water fountain shown is not included with the bird bath). The measurements shown in the product description are a little confusing. It says it is 20”L X 20”W X 30”H. It is actually 19 1/2 inches wide at the top basin, 15 inches wide at the base, and 30 inches high (including the bird statue). It is 27 1/2 inches high, not including the bird. So, I am not sure what the described 20 inches long means. It was extremely easy to assemble, and all the parts fit perfectly. They screw together, so no hardware is needed. The bird just inserts into its base holder. Assembly instructions were included, but I doubt you will need them, as it is so simple to assemble. It is not particularly heavy, weighing just 4 pounds, but I found it to be stable enough, because of its wide base. I suppose if you have strong winds, it could tip over, but there is room inside the lower pole attachment to add some sand to help solve that. The bird sculpture has some detail in the wings and its position is attractive. I haven’t had it long enough to see if attracts any birds. We have a lot of doves, and I suspect they will use it. In the spring and fall we have some migratory birds pass through, so hopefully we will see them use the bird bath, too. For its size and aesthetic value to me, I would say the price is reasonable. (I’m sure the price of shipping is hidden in the cost, though, since the box it was shipped in was so large.) Overall, this is a nice addition to my back patio decor, and I am happy with it. I find it enjoyable to look at, especially with the addition of a solar water fountain. Simple additions like this can aesthetically enhance the experience of having to stay home all the time (like so many of us these days). I have deducted one star because of the inaccuracies in the product description, noted above. Otherwise, I would have given the product itself a 5-star rating.

Extremely simple to put together. Sturdy standing in my garden. Top holds plenty of water for my feathered friends. Love it!

OOH I THINK THEY LIKE ME. THE BIRDS THAT IS

Purchased this Alpine product and was pleased with it. Initially, i thought that 31" would look very small but it was perfect for the yard. The color is perfect for a garden or anywhere outside. The item is lightweight but does look heavy duty from far away. You can use sand or gravel to weigh the base down. Inserting stakes in the ground will prevent it from falling over due to wind, animals, etc. Purchasing a solar bird bath fountain will really make these Alpine fountains look beautiful. I will say that the detachable bird should have been a different color to make it look more realistic. You can also insert real or artificial flowers at the base of the bath for an added touch. Beware, it will kill that small area of grass and you will need to do some occasional weed wacking around it. The bath is very easy to clean. I have to fill the bath approximately 2 to 3 times per day because all the birds flock to my home with this bath, a bath fountain, a feeder, nectar feeder, etc. I use a 1 gallon water jug to refill it. I only returned this item because i found the same Alpine bath from a different online retailer and only paid $12. It was also bronze to match my outdoor decor and looked very expensive. I only unboxed this item but i never used it. Im giving my opinion based off of my use with installing the new one of the same brand but different color.

Lightweight Bird Bath

I will admit I was expecting it to be heavy but it is lightweight and easy to assemble. I truthfully thought it would blow over with the crazy winds we have these days but it is super stable and can be moved anywhere at anytime. It looks great in my yard, I love it!.

Beautiful Accent For Your Yard!

Very nice! Easy to assemble and lightweight. Comes with two "U" spikes to anchor to the ground. I will put a few stones in it as well for the birds and bees etc.

Sorry I bought this.

I should have read the other reviews before ordering. Same as other buyers, threads do not match properly for the top and it ca not be tightened. It is also very light weight and not sturdy.

Like the look of the birdbath. It is light and easy to move about. Colour fits well in the garden. The basin holds a reasonable amount of water.
