Good for the price
This racks works for the purpose to transport your bikes from one place to another and the price is good if you don’t want to invest to much. After carefully reviewing a lot of the differences in Allen Models I decided for this one. It does fit three bikes but if you know how to proper strap them. The anti wobbling screw is not that good, so following multiple recommendations from other customers a filled up the gap in my receiver with bubble wrap and duck tape. The straps for the bikes are not good quality so they’ll not last forever. I hope they accept my review this time.

Deceptive Quality
Purchased this as a Prime Day deal and probably should have thoroughly read the product description, however a freeing of mine has a slightly different model which I’ve used and really liked. The issue with this frame is entirely related to the construction where the rack connects to the hitch. For some reason, the steel tube here is only an inch wide (it’s much more beefy up top) and in order to meet the 2” hitch connection, there is an aluminum “jacket” attached to three sides of the tube. The issue I have with this is two-fold: 1 - this does not seem to sit snugly in the hitch and results in significant movement if not strapped tight at other points. 2 - aesthetically, the tube ends up sitting off-center to the hitch because of the way the jacket is installed on the tube. Will have to see if this affects how stable the rack is in the long term.

Perfect AFTER the following 3 issues were resolved - very simple - see how
I love it but ONLY AFTER the following 3 problems were resolved. I can now drive with 2 bicycles mounted without wobbling, with the bicycle's front wheel in place and more importantly, I can remove the post and its arms in 10 seconds when is not needed. The three issues and the solutions I have used... 1. When I don't carry bikes, the post and the carry arms obstruct the license plate. It is apparently illegal in my state to drive with the rack and no bikes around from what I hear. Obstructing the license plate is illegal. They also obstruct the backup camera as well. So, I replaced the single 3/8 bolt that connects the elbow to the post with the following 3/8 hitch, pin locked and handle.DOUBLE HH 103 The Original Hitch Pin, 3/8 x 4" Cost - about $8.40. It is takes me now 15 seconds to remove the bike, pull out the pin from the replaced bolt and remove the post with its arms from the car. BTW: The police may not give you a ticket, but they have a reason to stop and lecture you if you drive with an obstructed license place. You may ask, what happens why you carry the bikes? I don't know. However, I drive 90% of time without the bikes... 2. I have a class 1 hitch - so I used the 1 1/4" elbow. With the correct bolt provided, there is still some wobbling.. So, I used the following Hitch Tightener - as recommended by others. I used the provided bolts face up - otherwise they stick down too much in my sedan. Hitch Tightener for 1.25" and 2" Hitches - Heavy-Duty, Easy-Install, No-Rust - Made in the USA Cost about $20 3. There is a need to stabilize the front wheel from turning. I use heavy duty bangee cords with Carabiner Hooks. Unfortunately, I found those in a set and they are very expensive.Heavy Duty 3/8 Bungee Cord Assortment Set with Steel Zinc Coated Machine Carabiner Hooks Proudly Made in the USA By Super Smithee .. Cost about $48! I should have tried the single 24" long similar product for $8.Keeper 06152 24" Super Duty Bungee Cord with Carabiner Hook I find those three items necessary for everyone who is using this Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier... I am surprised the company does not provide all three items above with the product.... I am now very happy with this Bike Carrier.

Love it...great bike rack for the price!
We have a Roadtrek Sprinter-based RV that we take camping a few times per year. Prior to buying this rack, I had a strap-based rack that always made me a little nervous. When driving, especially on mountain roads, my eyes would be glued to the rearview mirror to make sure I still had all my bikes. The system worked, but at every stop I'd get out and tighten the straps. The strap system also prevented the doors from being opened, so I had to remove the rack at the campground and re-attach everything when we left. Not too horrible, but certainly inconvenient. So, when we headed to Yosemite this summer, I decided to try a hitch-based rack. It was a night-and-day difference. This rack assembles quickly and is quite sturdy. There is absolutely no side-to-side sway. You can the force the rack up and down slightly when it is empty, but it's rock-solid as soon as you put any weight (bikes) on it. The rubber tie down straps work great. When in camp, the rack swings down enough to open the Sprinter doors, So, I can leave this rack permanently attached to the hitch. Bueno. By the way, a couple of steps in the assembly require two identical-sized wrenches be used simultaneously on opposite side of the rack. Another reviewer recommended buying a 2nd ratchet to ease assembly. I did that and it helped. You can also use a box wrench plus a crescent wrench, etc. I used this to haul 3 bikes to Yosemite. One is an electric bike (which is fairly heavy) and the other two were of medium weight. It handled all 3 bikes with no problems. This was a great purchase. I'm glad I bought it and wish I would have done so sooner.

We love this rack !
Not disappointed so far from this purchase. Very easy to install and fit perfectly on my 2" hitch on our SUV (Ford Escape 09). We love the fact that we can tilt the rack easily without any hustle even with bikes mounted and no problem to fit 3 mountain bike on it. We like the rubber straps, easy to tight and fit pretty much any bike design (like a BMX). Will update this post if there is any issues later, but so far so good, we love this rack !

Great rack fits perfect
Rack arrived quick. easy to assemble. There was still a bit of wobble in the hitch so I did a couple wraps of electrical tape on the bar and then inserted that into the hitch. The wobble bolt was tightened A LOT to the point that I was afraid of stripping it . But once it was good and tight there was very little wobble. Test fitted the bike and it works great. Went for a test drive and there was no rattle etc. Bonus is on my 2012 Maxima I can still open the trunk without lowering the arm. Over all impressed so far

Great customer service
The product appeared to be solid but on first long road trip a strap had broken. Mainly due to the awkward position of my bike. I did email the company and within minutes was issued a credit for replacement straps. Great customer service. Everything else is solid . Very happy.

Very unsturdy
Don't buy this! Save your money, time, and prevent frustration by not buying this. Spend even 40$ more and get a better rack than this. Horrible, horrible, horrible. It is so wobbly and unsturdy that it amazes me that they continue to make and sell this.
