Holds bike in place but will scratch frame!!
I’ve been using this rack for over a year. I avoid leaving the rack in when I’m not using it to avoid corrosion and other damage. The rack holds bike in place but will scratch bike frame where it’s held. Not easy to install in hitch either. The rack wobbles. I had to come with a solution to protect my bikes frames buying protective film tape ($$$) for the bike tubes and foam for the top of the rack. The damage is done but it won’t go further. I got lucky I saw this on my MTB before I got my road bike. Still not happy. DEC 2022: The rack wobbles constantly. More than ever! The bike sometimes wobbles violently with the moving car. Now it’s making weird sounds when adjusting. I don’t trust this rack anymore. Do not waste your money. Buy better no matter if it’s expensive. The rack won’t last and I do remove it when not using.

Works perfect love that it’s simple
Super easy to install. Works perfect. Feels stable and durable. Picked this one specifically as it was actually fairly simple and manual. Some of the more expensive racks had alot of reviews about some of the fancy mechanisms failing … this one you squeeze to release metal pins - I can see the pins secure I know that can’t fail or release accidentally and I feel much more secure with that. Have had three bikes and while that feels heavy I was t worried about the rack at all. Would highly recommend.

Perfection!
I honestly wanted the rack that held 4 bikes but bought the one that held 3 instead specifically because of the locking feature, which was a must for me. Finding a bike rack right now is next to impossible and I couldn't wait for the other ones to be back in stock because of our vacation plans. I followed the video instructions on the Allen website for assembly and installation and it was a piece of cake! I have a 1 1/4" trailer hitch (this rack works with both the 1 1/4" and the 2") and the locking mechanism worked perfectly...I HIGHLY recommend getting the rack with the lock. There was almost no sway while driving. Our drive was 160 miles each way and the rack never loosened up once. I had three adult bikes on the rack. For my bike, a woman's, I purchased the Allen Sports Tension Bar adaptor as well. To lock the bikes up to the rack, I purchased a 7' heavy-duty security cable along with a steel braided bike lock to secure the ends of the cable loops. I threaded the cable through all the bike wheels, around the back of the rack and locked it up. My main concerns were the swaying and the security and all of them were put to ease by doing this. Allen did not disappoint! EXACTLY what I wanted
I LOVE this bike rack!!! It is perfect!! It is super easy to use, it was super easy to assemble, easy to install...I do not have any complaints at all. I love that it is lightweight so I can easily remove it from my car and put it on by myself. I like that I can lock it on so no one can steal it. I like how easy it is to use. I haven’t had any issues with wobbles or wiggling , but I haven’t taken it on the freeway with bikes on it yet. I’ll update my review if I have issues I’m super happy I paid for this deluxe one with the push button for bending the arm down and leaning the rack out. It makes it really easy and I don’t have to worry about some awkward cotter pin or pinching myself. When my kids are old enough for bigger bikes I will buy the same thing that carries more bikes. This one is perfect for our family right now. I haven’t tried leaning the rack out with bikes on it yet, but it seems like it would work fine. I’ll update if that is weird/has issues

Great product, Great Price!
This is great. Just got it and took it for a trip out of town. Holds 3 bikes, but i've only used it for one so far. It's a solidly built piece of equipment, doesn't rattle much (a little rattling, but not noticeable while driving) and super easy to install on my Jeep. One thing I wanted to point out here, because I saw some people mention, was the confusing instructions on putting it together -- that was not my experience, personally. I thought it was super straightforward, didn't really need the instructions to assemble, and it's super intuitive. But if you did need the instructions, I didn't find them to be particularly confusingly written either. All in all, zero complaints, this is a solid piece of equipment at that price (and looks nice, too, but my Jeep is black, so the red and black go nicely). Easy five stars from me!

Surprisingly good
Locked two adult bikes and one kids bike (all mountain bikes) on this rack on a Jeep Grand Cherokee V6. Went down a bumping highway in AZ for 3 hours. No issues. Way more solid and held up better than I thought it would! Even did a little off roading with it on (nothing extreme) One thing I'll mention...I got the deluxe with the nylon straps mainly because I live in a hot environment, if these had the rubber straps I doubt they would hold up in very cold or extreme heat over time.

Works easy
Having tested the rack on a couple trips, I feel the rack is great for two bikes and 3rd bike as a last choice. I'm sure it's fine with 3 bikes, but be aware of the carrying weight limitation. My two bikes seemed heavy enough when the bikes bounced after hitting bumps therefore I would hesitate on a 3rd bike in my case. If you have 3 lighter weight bikes, NP.

Great value for the price
Great for the value, works very well. Works better then my previous more expensive one. I purchased a 3 bike rack for 2 bikes. Works well giving enough space between the two bikes so they don't touch or bang against each other. I also use bungee cords on front tires to keep them from swinging

Not enough space for 3 Bikes.
I’m giving 3 stars because I was disappointed with the product when I put three bikes on the hitch. The space between bikes are very tight and difficult to accommodate it on the support. However, the product is very good and also good quality and easy to assemble. Knowing this, if you are going to put 3 bikes I recommend to buy one support for 5 bikes.

Bueno para 2 bicis (aunque diga que es para 3)
Está muy bueno, fácil de instalar y muy resistente. Tengo ya más de un mes utilizandolo y estoy satisfecha. El único detalle es que compré para 3 bicicletas, pero no le caben. Solamente le caben 2. (yo uso bicicletas de montaña y es imposible ponerle 3). Fuera de eso, está muy bien hecho, si lo recomiendo.

Muy bueno para 1 o 2 bicicletas
Lo compré para cuando salgo sola o con mi pareja, porque nuestro portabicicletas familiar es muy grande y pesado (de plataforma). Es súper ligero y fácil de poner y quitar, y para una o dos bicicletas (doble suspensión) funciona bien. Para tres bicicletas, solo funcionaría si son de ruta, pero todos los portabicicletas de este tipo son así (s hay que restarle al menos una bicicleta a lo que dice el fabricante porque el máximo de bicicletas a cargar se refiere a bicicletas de ruta). En resumen,por precio y funcionalidad, lo recomiendo.

Great bike rack, I love it!
Very stylish and functional bike rack. I would recommend that you advise if the bicycle has no crossbar you have to purchase a crossbar attachment!
