I'm very pleased with this purchase. It looks just as pictured, and is of decent quality (nothing too fancy). And it definitely makes the hammock more comfortable. It also makes your hammock more dog-friendly, which is part of my reason for purchasing it. Before, I'd always need a towel so the dogs could find a spot without their paws poking through all over the place. This item has three ties on either side to help keep it in place, and they work quite well. One thing to note -- this makes your hammock less wind resistant. The hanging hammock part will flip over often in the wind. And a few times, the whole frame has toppled over since it gives the wind something to latch onto. This would be the same with any similar hammock pad, but just thought I'd mention it as a general consideration to buying a hammock pad. I've had it on for probably a month now, and it still looks good. Guessing it will eventually fade, but so far so good. It seems to dry fairly quickly after it rains (we do keep it in the sun).

Gift for the husband
I bought it as a gift for my husband. He loves it. It ties in 3 places on each side so it doesn't move when you lay on. Material is nice, I left it out in the rain and it dried out fairly quick. I would repurchase if I had to.

I purchased this months ago and we had a nightmare of a storm and blew it all around. You wouldn't have known it was thrashing around all night. The ropes/ties didn't show any wear. The fabric is awesome. Easily washes off with a hose and it's been in the sun for months and no fading at all. I highly recommend this and would buy it again in a second. UPDATE - I HAVE HAD THIS FOR A FEW YEARS NOW, it stays outside year round in northern Massachusetts. Nothing wears this hammock pad down. Colors are still vivid and fabric is the same as the day I bought it

Well made and durable
I balled a little at the price but the product is excellent. The mat is well made and the seams are sturdy and well finished. It makes my hammock much more comfortable. It stands up to lots of weather and cleans up easily with the garden hose. Good investment for summer fun.

We are so happy we purchased this - makes it so easy to get in and out of Hammock - comfortable and looks spectacular!!! Well made and ties down to hammock nicely!! Was concerned that some negatives were that pad was too thin - but that is not an issue for us - it is a quality constructed pad and will last us for years to come!!

Adding Comfort to Pleasure!
This Hammock Pad was a gift for my wife who uses the hammock as temporary relief for a troubling back, in addition to the simple pleasure of relaxing with a book. I had purchased similar pads with less favorable results and was therefore somewhat skeptical as to the effectiveness of the Algoma product. Aside from the appealing colors, the pad proved to be most effective in eliminating any "feedback" from the hammock webbing(my wife's the original "Princess and the Pea"). Needless to say, if the durability equals the quality this will have been a valued investment.

Hammock Pad
This is a very nice quality hammock pad, bought because our rope hammock was a little uncomfortable and the ropes have broken on past hammocks. This pad fits wonderfully and is very comfortable. The vendor shipped it very quickly. We are very satisfied with this hammock pad and would recommend it to anyone with a rope hammock.

Must buy if you have a rope hammock
I have standard size rope hammock and when I laid this on top, it was like a completely new place to rest. Very comfortable and stays in place really well with the lanyards that are attached. Must need for those with rope hammocks.
