Feels nice, uses a ton of water

Maybe it's the nature of the product, but the only thing that loses a star is that the flow rate for water is huge. Expect your water bill to go up substantially. That being said, it sure feels nice, was easy to install, and easy to adjust. It comes with a couple of replacement nozzles, so I wonder how durable it is. But so far, it's lasted months without issue.

Rain shower head

But this showerhead for a bathroom remodel and at first it looked great. As a note, it still works great but won't shine like it did when it was brand-new. I don't think I have hard water but it sure is stained with a corrosive white looking powderish substance. I tried calcium lime rust remover but that wouldn't take the stains off of it. Because of the stains I just might be forced to buy another when the price drops and replace mine. Also the little nipples will get clog sometimes, all I have to do to repair mine is take a wet washcloth and wipe them label should start shooting straight. If I didn't take so long remodeling my bathroom, I would have exchanged this for a new one. Not sure how the company customer service would be about this issue but don't think they would replace it, but I'll try and post back the response from them.

Perfect, if your situation is perfect

I give it full stars based on its waterfall-like experience on a budget. Know that this comes at a cost, though. It will take a lot of water - this is not a water saving head and if you restrict the flow via washers it won't give the rain forest experience. It'll run through your hot water very quickly, as you might expect. I like it because I can get a complete shower in half the time, due to the big flow and big coverage. My girlfriend doesn't like it at all - the water doesn't reach you with much intensity and it doesn't blast shampoo out of her hair. I have short hair and don't use much shampoo or soap for that matter - I tend to use just a little and scrub hard and it works fine for me. We have two showers so I'll keep using this in the "guest" bathroom. I start my shower hot and within 2 minutes its warm. I generally finish before its cold, but if I stayed more than 8 minutes or so I'd have to adjust the mix to keep it warm. It goes through a lot of water. So if you're not on a water meter, don't do many showers in your household around the same time, don't need a high intensity stream, a good fast drain, and have good water pressure, I'm confident you will appreciate the benefits and the experience! Personally, I am very satisfied and I think it'll last a long time because of the materials. If some nozzles stop working or spray out-of-plane with the others, just rub them gently. It's probably a mineral deposit that will be fixed with gentle motion. I try to stand fully under it when I'm not applying soap or shampoo - it's wasteful to just use a corner of the stream!

This shower head is very large. My 12" shower arm was not long enough so I had to purchase a 20" arm. It is very definitely a rain type shower head that produces a down pour like a summer rain shower. Angling the shower head does not make it spray much farther than it does just going down. My wife doesn't like this because it doesn't keep her warm when she is shaving her legs (our shower is pretty long). With this type of shower head you can do without the shower door if you have a large shower as it does not splash all over. I may have to go to an 8" shower head to have what makes her happy. For me, it works very well so it really depends on what kind of shower you want. A high pressure stream or a gentle rain fall. I have thought of removing the flow restrictor but will probably try an 8" first to make my other half happy. The quality and finish are very nice and it looks very nice in my rimless glass shower.

Quite heavy, needs a non adjustable arm, doesn't have as much pressure as a speakman type shower.

Its very heavy and it can't be hung with an adjustable shower arm like Delta Faucet UA902-PK Universal Showering Components 10 -Inch Adjustable Shower Arm, Chrome which shows up in the frequently bought with this. I bought the adjustable shower arm, and it keeps coming loose and falling on people's head. I've ordered another arm that I hope works with it, the Delta RP61273 Addison 15-Inch Shower Arm,...

I really am happy with this shower head

I really am happy with this shower head. First off, it came well packaged and protected in a nice cloth bag. It provides a nice even water flow simulating rain. If you haven't used this type of shower head before, know that it won't come out with high pressure like your standard shower head on the wall. This thing looks sharp too. It's super thin, as the description says. Polishes up nice and the great thing is that since the fixture itself really doesn't get wet since the water if falling straight down from it, it doesn't have to be cleaned very often. I also comes with a few extra rubber tips in case some get clogged or damaged, which is nice. I haven't had to use them yet so I'm not sure how easy they are to replace. All of this for a fraction of the price as many other similar fixtures! Don't hesitate to buy.

Bad quality, will not last.

UPDATE on Nov. 23, 2018: I wanted to update this review because of Alfi's response to my review (see below comment). Per the comment, I contacted Jason and provided them the SKU # of my rain shower head. Apparently, my shower head was a knock off; but they shipped me a new replacement shower head anyway and I really appreciate that. The new Alfi shower head looks the same to me but the SKU is totally different. I am glad my shower has a working rain shower head again and hopefully this one will last. -----------original review written on Sept. 4, 2018---- When I bought this shower head 2 years ago, there was no negative reviews. I guess we are the first batch of customers and this shower head is manufactured to last barely pass its warranty. Like the other 1 stars reviews, my shower head (professionally installed) bursts open at the seam after only 2 years and 2 months of usage. I wished I've stick with a known brand instead.

This rain head is amazing both in looks and function. I recommend using the flow restrictor, without it, you will burn through your hot water fairly quick depending on tank size. The mirror finish stays surprisingly clean and is also easy to wipe. It took about 3 months to get, but it was worth the wait!
