Very pretty

I really liked this dress! But there was some sort of bulge in the material in the back when zipped up that did not look right. I wish it could have worked out.

Runs small

I bought another dress from Alex Evenings in size 14P and it fit perfectly-if anything on the loose side. When I ordered this dress I expected the same but I could hardly get it past my hips and there was no way I was zipping it. Not sure if it's the style or what because I'm the same weight as 6 months ago. The length was perfect for me - I'm 5'1". It is very pretty and well made.

Beautiful dress

I bought this for my son’s wedding. What a beautiful dress. Runs true to size. Unfortunately the top part of the dress that isn’t lined was too itchy for me so I had to return it.

Amazon "What did you use this product for?" is terrible English. Try - "How did you use this product?" Ok about this beautiful sleeveless evening gown with shawl (for the record, it isn't a shawl, but more of an oblong nylon or polyester scarf - perfect for the gown) - for perspective, I am a 55 y/o woman, 5'3", 134 lbs. My dress size is typically about an 8 in misses or a 10 petite. After reading reviews, I ordered the 10 petite. It was too big all over, but especially in the bust. I exchanged it for an 8 petite, and it was perfect! It fit my figure well while still being comfortable. This dress was for my wedding. I ordered the champaign color - it has a little bit of blush to it too, which was okay with me. I received a lot of compliments and exchanging sizes was easy. Very happy with this purchase.

Beautiful fit and flair dress

MOB here. I love the fit of this dress. I bought a 10 petite. The length was perfect, too! The color is more of a grayish blue. Well made. Very flattering. It is so very heavy though and the wedding will be during the peak of summertime. It would be perfect for a winter, spring wedding. I am returning. I’m going with my first pick. Follow up on my return. Amazon received dress over a week ago. For future reference, only buy Amazon items with their own credit card or you’ll still be waiting for refund. This seems like a delay tactic in returning your money. I’m not happy with that. Also, I received this dress without the scarf and was missing any type of price tag which I wrote in note on my return. Buyer beware. For that reason, I would give Amazon a zero star in customer service on this transaction

Shawl missing

The dress is absolutely beautiful and fit as expected however the description says that it comes with a shawl and no shawl was included. Am returning it and ordering again in hopes of getting the shawl next time.

Just what I wanted

After reading reviews, I made sure to measure and order the size according to my measurements. It fits perfectly and shows the curve at my waist which I like. I am 5'3" and the length for the petite size was perfect, no hemming required. One review had said the color was more grey but I find in the light it shows light blue nicely; in darker setting it can look a bit grey. It is elegant and classy, well made. It could be a bit warm for a summer event but I'm not sure yet. My son's wedding is in July so I will see then. Delivery was very quick, ordered Sunday and arrived Wed. I am very happy with my purchase and can't wait to wear it.

Loved the Colour

It is a very pretty wisteria colour. Nice and light to go with many other colors. I did send it back though just because it was very itchy. If they could find another type of lace it would be perfect.

Such a beautiful dress!

Thank you for the speedy delivery of this beautiful dress! I wasn't sure what to expect for an "on-line" purchase but all I can say is the picture does not do this dress justice!! The colour is a gray-blue and the lace is just lovely - it is shaded with blue and gold accents - so very elegant! It also comes with a matching chiffon shawl!! The dress is a lovely princess-line and is very flattering - I can't wait to wear it to my son's wedding!!

Sizing is incorrect?

Hi I ordered a size 6 in this dress and it was a little big. I ordered the size 4 waited approximately 10 days it and when it arrived it was much larger than the size 6. I think it was incorrectly sized. There may be some quality control issues. I was hesitant to order another size 4 in case the same dress was returned to me.
