Instructions are incorrect

We have had a Alessi wall clock for years, this was a replacement as the original no longer kept accurate time. In the new clock, the C battery used previously is replaced by a AA battery. The problem is that the instructions for inserting the AA battery into the clock are shown backwards. Consequently the clock doesn't work until you reverse the way the instructions tell you to insert the battery.

A must have clock

Fantastic clock...but very simplistic...which I happen to love. It is a copy of a clock costing much more...but looks great. It is hanging in my kitchen now. As to durability...I have no idea..as I have had but a month.

there's something super minimalist but elegant about this clock. it looks great in our classic kitchen/kitchenette :) now we do not have to squint at the oven/microwave to tell time :)

Design look is very clean and modern but quality is poor. Clock that we received did not work and was obviously poorly packed. We tried 3 new Duracell AA batteries that we tested with a volt meter and all showed a full charge. Nevertheless, clock would not work. There is no second hand so you have to wait at least a few minutes to see if the hands move. Advertised price is $90 for a clock that was made in China and probably has $5-10 in material. Unfortunate because clock face looks nice but quality is very poor. I would not recommend this product at advertised price. At most this product should be priced around $25-40 at most.

Clock mechanism doesn't work

Clock mechanism doesn't work. To whom do I return it. I would like to get a new one that does work because it's so handsome.

LOVELY CLOCK……….WORKS FOR APPROX……3 WEEKS…..

This clock has the most unique and fantastically inspiring appearance. Should you decide to buy this clock, one must be purely satisfied with the viewing of a style of “museum piece”. The clock will only function to indicate the time of day for the most minimal of all expected periods of time. My clock functioned as a timepiece for approximately 4 weeks. After less than one month, it became only an object of interest to behold. There was no more attempt by the clock to indicate any time whatsoever. We changed the batteries, an engineer examined it……..nothing changed. The clock was quite poorly designed. The last according to a Ph.D Mechanical Engineer. Either purchase this clock purely as a most uniquely interesting item of sculpture…….or buy a different clock that functions as a clock. I purchased a different clock, not as artistically challenging. However, the new clock does indeed keep time. This is a point that most will probably find to be of at least minor relevance, certainly while considering the purchase of a timepiece.

An Alessi Classic

I have to confess I’m a bit of an Alessi freak, I’ve got loads and loads of (Alessi )stuff that I’ve accumulated over the years, I’ve even had the privilege of visiting the factory on the Italian Swiss border. I love the clock!

Wall Clock

This is not Grey, but a beige/ stone colour so I returned it and Hermes have lost the parcel and not taking responsibility and so far unable to get anywhere with Amazon: so please be aware this is definitely not grey, although a very nice wall clock.
