A Good Learning Tool For A Baby

The Sassy Developmental Baby Book was ordered for our 7 month old great-grandson. The book is about the size of a photo album for pictures that are 4 X 6 or smaller. It has a soft plastic cover, and has individual slots for pictures. We placed 4 X 6 pictures of her parents, grandparents, great grandparents, and aunts for him to learn about "Who Loves Him". His mother has gone through the book with him frequently since receiving it, and our great-grandchild will look at the picture and then look at the person if in the room. This is a picture book that is well-worth having to help a very young baby learn about his family or perhaps other topics. We would definitely order this book again.

Good Quality but Photos Don't Fit

We had to trim down out 4x6 photos to fit them better. Overall it's a good idea, good value, and good quality. I love keeping pictures of my family for him to see.

My review of book only. Terrific first book

Peek-A-Boo is a concept every child can relate to. It is an exciting, joyful and intimate experience between an infant or toddler and their care-giver. These positive emotions transfer naturally to the act of reading a Peek-A--Boo book. The book's indestructibility gives the child the freedom to produce the book at will. We normally keep it in a pocket on the back of a child's chair, in reach and accessible. Our toddler (13 to 16 mos) retrieves the book and lays it on a lap to indicate his desire to be read to. The pages flip up to reveal the hiding creature which enables the child to 'turn pages' without ripping or damage. We've gone through several different stages with the book. At first we simply mimicked the Peek-A-Boo game, then introduced 'where's such & such?' 'You found him/ her!' Then introduced appropriate sounds, mooo, bzzz. My biggest complaint is the last creature is a ladybug and there's no sound associate. I recite 'ladybug, ladybug fly away home' but it falls a little flat. My older grandson had delayed speech issues and his therapist shared that consistency and the ability to anticipate were key to language development. Even withought photograph stevie is pretty to look at with dome good black and white designs. Only downside is that you can't lock/ fix photos in. Soft like a bath book so good for chewing.

Cute gift idea

Really liked this photo book, although I'm not sure exactly what size the photos are meant to be to fit in, as I had to trim my photos to fit. My baby loves flicking through to find his mama, daddy and brother.

Great product!

Great product. So useful for family get-togethers with out of town relatives. It alleviates any anxiety baby has with seeing new faces & relatives LOVE being recognised. Pictures can be easily swapped out with newer ones as time goes by. We printed pictures as 2 or 4 faces per 4x6 picture to fit more people into the limited number of photo slots. Only drawback is that baby can take the pictures out & chew or rip them.

Colourful and baby friendly

This book is really awesome, as I had some pictures I wanted to put in an album for my then 3 1/2 month old she is now 5 months old loves it more every time I give it to her. This product is much better than a conventional photo album as it is soft, waterproof and has a handle so baby can use herself. Very, very appealing to baby with the bright contrasts and easy to hold textures.

Excelente opción para que el bebé reconozca a las personas que lo quieren y están cerca de él/ella. Es un favorito de mi hijo y lo mantiene entretenido mucho tiempo; SUPER recomendable si a tu hijo le gustan las fotografías y los libros.
