Nice Album

This album was a pleasant surprise. I had a lot of pictures of a graduation and I didn't want to just keep them online or in my phone. I had a couple of 5x7 that needed to go in there and it does have the capability to push it into two spots but you will have a slight white line across the plastic because it was the divider of the two 4x6 pictures once slid in. Other than that its really nice. And many albums don't have the ability to override the two 4x6 slots.

Continuously satisfied with these albums!

This is the third time I have placed an order for a few of the Pioneer Embossed Floral Flame Leatherette photo albums, and each time I have been beyond satisfied with my purchase. I use these yearly for our "yearly photo albums". I have never had any of the plastic sleeves, nor pages rip. I love that there is a small space to make a note as to what is happening in the photo, for reference when reviewing them in the future. I will most definitely continue to by this albums for years to come.

Cheap and not designed well

Cons: Not leather, picture slots go east-west, which is fine, but for me, who takes pics with my IPhone and then has prints made, I find most of my shots are north-south in orientation, so when I put them in this album, I have to turn the book 90 degrees to view the shot, which is unpleasant and cumbersome. In this digital age, the only reason you want to make a photo album of your pics to to have an alternate, enjoyable way of viewing them. The other thing I note is that the plastic sleeves tear very easily, and if you remove or insert more than once, you are bound to tear it. I believe also that the memo strip is on the inside left margin, also not good placement for me. Pros: comparable price to what you find in stores; I actually saw it (after my Amazon purchase) at Michael's for about the same price. The album has a kind of pretty design and looks somewhat like tooled leather. It will hold a good number of pics if storage is your aim. I would not buy any more of these, and have learned my lesson now and will only buy an album that I can pick up and leaf through first to see if it fits my need regarding quality and functional layout.

Great for an album

Worked great for a photo album. Portrait pics will hog an entire page unless you don't mind overlapping horizontal and vertical photos on a page - which I don't. Quality is pretty good; you can't tell in the description but there is a light embossed scroll on the cover. I like that the photo pages are plastic inserts and not the horrifying magnetic pages that ruin photos.

Attractive album that is easy to store

Over the summer, I digitized my family's historic photos and wanted photo albums to put printed photos in for gifts. The large conventional photo albums are hard to store on a bookshelf and, in my house, anyway, wind up underneath towels in the linen closet, never to be seen again. This album is compact enough to fit on a regular bookshelf. The photos only fit in the landscape position (as opposed to tall, vertical photos), but in a small album it is not difficult to turn the album to look at the photos. The area beside the photos to write captions is quite small, so it will not accommodate a lot of text. The cover, though synthetic, looks like a quality cover. In black, I thought it looked very classic. I bought one, then started purchasing others, so I liked it enough to make a repeat purchase.

Great albums for the price

So glad I found this on Amazon. It's getting kind of hard to find decent photo albums these days. This is a simple, elegant album and holds plenty of photos. The only drawback is you can't move the pages around (so rearranging photos can be a pain), but I guess I'm used to the old school binder-style albums. We ordered additional ones so we could give out baby photos to the grandparents, too.
