Nice piece of furniture.

I read reviews about fit and screws breaking. The assembly process is just what it is supposed to be. And if you use lube on the screws, such as soap, and don't over torque, it worked well for me.

Needs Pilot Holes for the screws

The is a lovely and seemingly very well made wood table, ideal for small spaces. My only complaint is that in assembling it, you have to drive 8 #6 Phillips head screws into the leg and sides The screws are what pull the sides and shelf together and ties them to the legs, so they need to be driven all the way in or there will be gaps, but here are no pilot holes in the parts into which the screws have to bite. I tried making pilot holes myself, but none of my my 1/16" drills was long enough to do the job. I tried driving them first by hand and then with an electric drill, but had the same problem with both: before I could get most of the screws fully embedded, the Philips heads got stripped. I really wish that American Furniture had thought to drill pilot holes. I would have made assembly far easier.

Nice stand, looks good, Problem with predrilled holes & quality of screws.

I really like the stand, especially the built-in power & charging station. Arrived promptly. Well packaged. No flaws. But 2 of larger dowels that go in the pre-drilled holes were too big. We were able to finally get them in. The other issue was with the 2" screws. They were inexpensive & the tops were easily chewed up by the drill. One top broke off & I'll have to get something to extract it since there is a gap where the 2 pieces meet. But overall I really like it and would buy it again.

Great table! Love it!

Highly recommend. Good quality wood, very heavy and sturdy. Table also has a built in phone charger. Good value for the money.

convenient and work

Tried to use the usb plugs to charge phone but they do not work. The electrical plugs work .

Would definitely recommend this table!

Love these tables, very durable, good value for the dollar. They were purchased for a spare bedroom. I especially like that our guests can charge their phones, tablets, etc right on the table. The one thing I didn’t like is that the cord is very thick and not easy to hide....but it is long enough that it could reach an outlet that is positioned on the wall with the center of the bed, so I may rearrange the bedroom! This is not a deal breaker with me, as I am 100% happy with my purchase.

Nice furniture but defective screws.

Screws were cheap - some of the heads broke off during setup. Fortunately I had similar screws in my tool shed. Normal screw heads don’t break off. They must be cutting corners on quality screws.

great piece of furniture

As I wrote in the desk review, this is a great piece and quite heavy but the coloring is off and what I ordered was walnut but this appears to be more expresso. Bought two tables and a desk, all do not match the pictures nor other pieces that I purchased in Walnut. Extremely dissatisfied with the coloring though the furniture itself is very nice.
