Cavalier puppy LOVES this toy!

I didn’t read the description closely, so I was surprised at how large this toy was. If I had seen it in-store I would have passed given its size, but turns out my six-month old Cavalier King Charles puppy absolutely loves it! It’s versatile - she loves to tug, chew the rope, gnaw on the feet, squeak the nose and feet, use it as a pillow…it’s going to be a long-term favorite. She’s a toy killer, and this one is holding up well. She will eventually ruin it, but it will take her weeks. And when she does, I will order another. Well worth it!

A lot of features in one toy

So I knew going in that my dog was going to tear this thing up. And he did. Being a soft plush toy, he had stuffing on the ground in 10 min. But, then you just pull out the stuffing and throw it away and he has a good toy. Well, until he then rips of the nose, ears, and starts ripping down the plush fabric. Even after all of that, there is the rope body. This is what keeps the toy interesting even after a week. So still worth it, longest lasting plush toy so far. Not too messy if you stay on top of it. Make sure your dog doesn’t grab the cheap plastic squeakers and plastic crinkle sheets

Lasts the longest

I like the sturdy rope component for tug of war. He eventually rips it to shreds, starting with the beak, but still chews on the shredded duck.

My dog's favorite

I bought the blue dino first and it quickly became my dog's favorite toy. She's a heavy chewer and a puppy so I was concerned about how it would hold up. All things considered, it's a great toy. What got me interested and why I think it ended up my dog's favorite is because 1- it has a lot of different textures, plush, rope, crinkle, squeaker and 2- tug. She LOVES tug so she'll bring the toy up to me all the time to play but it's small enough to throw and has a lot going on for her to entertain herself with as well. The dino lasted about a month maybe a month and a half. In all honesty, that's pretty good considering what a beast my dog is. I bought a new one once she started getting to the stuffing. This time I went for the cow which is cute. You can't expect a plush toy to really hold up if your dog is a chewer. That's reality. Some are definitely built to last longer but they don't last forever. I found these to be fairly well made. My biggest grief is that the little dino spikes, or cow horns, those little pieces are easy for my dog to just rip off. That's the first thing she does and I have to watch to pick them up so she doesn't eat them accidentally. After that, they last a while until she just rips a huge hole and stuffing comes out.

Super impressed

80lb, 6 month old Great Dane not an on purpose toy destroyer - just wear and tear over time. That being said - this is really well made. The stitching is strong and the fabric feels durable the toy is long and handing a game of tug well. Squeaker in nose and each top hand (3 total), tail is crinkle. Just got it so we will see how long it lasts but so far I’m super impressed

It's very durable, holding up to sharp puppy teeth.

It's strong and material is soft. So our puppy likes to lay on it as well as play with it.

Disappointed

My little chihuahua had this for 10 whole minutes. Looks great and strong but if your dog likes to nibble then this is not the one! Disappointed for the money I spend.

Great for tug

This one has survived pretty well for at least a month. The rope handle is really firmly connected, much sturdier that the second handle at the bottom with the squeaker. That handle only lasted a couple weeks then had to be removed and I stitched up the bottom. Otherwise I think we'll get a couple more weeks of play out of it! It's been really fun and my dog is really rough on his toys.

This dog toy is the real deal

Our dog shreds all stuffed toys we buy within hours. It got to the point that we just stopped. We saw this one and gave it a try and it has managed to survive. After 3 months, she has only managed to tear some of the fabric around the butt and the neck after many serious tugging sessions. What is cool though is that underneath there is a tough rope (and no stuffing). The reasons for its long life are that the toy is very tough/well made and we only let her play with it with us as a tug toy (we do not leave it with her).

Not very durable

Ordered this for my pug, who is eight years old. It came nice and quick and looked impressive (although the shipping box was total overkill for the product) however, it certainly did not last. My dog is not particularly rough with his toys but this one last about 3 days. I had to keep cutting off the bits so he wouldn't choke and to at least get a bit of play time out of it. In good conscience, I could not recommend this product.

Disappointed

I purchased one of these toys at my local pet store prior to Xmas 2021. It was the purple platypus My dog loved it. Now being March it’s naturally showing it’s wear. I wanted to replace it so I’ve found these online, as I hadn’t had much luck in my local stores. Within 5 minutes my dog had ripped the brown one open.. I thought it was just a one off as that other lasted much longer. So I pulled out the blue one and within another 5 minutes she had ripped the seam out. I’m not sure what changed in a matter of months.. but they aren’t made the same that’s forsure!
