Stunning dress

This was a last minute purchase for a wedding. I had ordered another dress from Bloomingdales and the size was off, the fit too small. I logged on line to Amazon to see if they had any dresses similar to the one I had purchased. I saw this, upped the size and bought it for the next day. Wow. A major saver. The dress fit perfectly. Other than the length, which I had hemmed, it was absolutely perfect. It fit in well with a late afternoon, early evening wedding. Made my day.

Beautiful for mother of the Bride

This was a beautiful dress. It was very comfortable to move around, sit, stand, and of course dance. Wonderful compliments from everyone and it was a very flattering dress as mother of the bride. As mother of the bride, you deserve to wear a stunning dress like this. Not too heavy even with all the beading. Just flowed so elegantly. Beautiful in pictures and went well with the entire wedding party. Highly recommend this dress and because it is a somewhat stretchy material it conforms to just make for a wonderful fit. I am a size 12 - 14 and easily fit in 12. Quite long. I am 5'5" and cut about 2 1/2 " off and still able to wear 3 1/2 inch heals. Highly recommend

only giving it 4 stars because I'm a little larger than I need to be, it would definitely look better on a thinner and taller person. I'm only 5'1, therefore had a ton cut off to make this dress show the top of my feet and my amazing shoes. The length makes it easy to dance in. The dress is absolutely gorgeous and I received tons of compliments. The color is so unique, a brownish-pewter-slate color. The beads are gorgeous, but scratchy. As pretty as it is, after wearing it literally all afternoon and evening for the wedding, I was a little happy to get it off, the millions of feeds are a little heavy. I put fits as expected because I had read other reviews saying it came super long. Seriously, I had 10-12 inches cut off!! I'm a little larger up top, so I have to order accordingly. therefore hips had to be taken in a little. I spent $150 on alterations. This made the dress way too expensive. I wouldn't do this again for financial reasons. If you're 5'8 or taler, you're golden!

Gorgeous and different

Oh, this is a gorgeous gown! It's difficult to describe the exact color, but I'll do my best -- it's an unusual shade for formal wear. I don't expect to "see myself" in multiple iterations at the big event I am planning to attend. The gown is just that "different." The lining is a medium steel gray and the net overlay is an ashy-gray/brown (with more emphasis on the brown) -- the result is a mutable shade of taupe in some lights, and a slightly bronzy-gray in others -- but the over-all result is simply lovely. The beaded embellishments are perfect for it -- more concentrated on the bodice and around the neckline, but gradually tapering off down the skirt. The godets in the skirt move gracefully and the fit is spot-on for size. It's a very flattering design and the color is, I think, an attractive choice for many women. The skirt is long, however -- I am 5'7" and even with heels on, I needed to have the skirt professionally shortened by over two inches. That added an extra $60 to the cost of the gown. A final point: I was concerned about finding shoes that would go well with this gown -- silver wasn't right, and black looked too harsh -- but I found a perfect match in Adrienne Vittadini's Surya Dress pump in a pewter-gray (also on Amazon).

Lovely styling, and flattering dress. Just needed hemming!

I wore it for my daughter’s wedding. I got a lot of complements. It was long on me but I lost weight before the wedding sso I had it altered.

Beautiful dress with long length.

Beautiful dress. Not as heavy as some of the gowns of this style I am 5'6" 145 lbs and ordered a size 8. This dress is very long, if I decide to keep it, it will have to be altered in the length. Other measurements on size chart were very accurate. Ordered size 8.

Really long.

Beautiful and good fit for size except it was extremely long. I am 5'10" and even with 2.5" heels it was brushing the ground. I would have had to wear much higher heels or have the hem raised.
