school uniform

I like that it is wash and wear, but it is stiff and , according to the child, scratchy. It does look nice when she is wearing it

Rigid material

The skirt looks okay for a school uniform but it is stiff looking when she wears it. The zipper has been difficult also

The absolute best value for a uniform skirt/skort

I've tried several different brands of uniform skirts since our private school started requiring them, and this particular style of French Toast skirts will be my absolute go-to from here on out for the following reasons: 1. Value/Price We previously tried Land's End, which we also liked, but the cost is about 4X as much, and the shipping (through Land's End's website) can take up to 2 weeks. You just can't beat these skirts for the price and Amazon prime shipping. 2. Quality / Wear We launder these as usual, and there are almost no wrinkles, plus the pleats stay in place. They always have a quality look. No shrinkage either. 3. Fit These are short enough to not look out-dated, but long enough that my daughter isn't getting any complaints from the school that her skirts are too short. For sizing reference, my daughter 11 years old, 5'1", and slim build. We order the size 12, and take the back in a little (there is an adjustable waist). **One improvement would be if they added slim sizes.

A perfect fit

Buying clothes on Amazon can be a bit hit and miss, but this was a great purchase. The skirt is lovely and fabric is of good quality.

Perfect sise. 42 plus is def an adult size. So happy with my purchase. Just before college too!!!

No need to go up too much in size

Beautiful quality but I wish I hadn’t ordered so large a size for my daughter. She’s a very very tall 5 year old, and she’s mostly wearing size 8 now (although she’s too slim for some items). I thought 10 would be safe for the coming fall but these sizes look wider than what I’m used to buying. Will exchange for a smaller size.
