Lots of bubbles
This airstone stays where you place it. I’m using it in a small pond and it works very well. Much less expensive than purchasing a “pond” airstone.

For the price, Amazing!
The media could not be loaded. Considering how cheap it was, I was expecting something small, but the stone is actually very long. The bubbles only went out the first half of the stone but I’m pretty sure that another air tube can be attached on the other side to make it even. (Btw if you’re looking for an air pump, whisper ones are SILENT)

Quit working
Had it for 2 months and half of it quit working. I’ve taken it out and cleaned it with a toothbrush and tried everything. Water is clean so no build up. It simply stopped working

degrading performance over time
Less and less of the stone is producing bubbles. When I started with it 9 months ago almost the entire length of the air stone had bubbles. Now only the first 2 inches show bubbles. In the beginning the bubbles were medium and now they are rather large, to the point that they are disturbing the surface and it splatters.

It works
Bubbles are coming out the entire stone you have to give it time

First only 25% worked, but now 75% of the length is working after 3 weeks. I really like the wall it creates.
This definitely does let out a good amount of bubbles. When I first got it, I soaked it in a water bin for a few hours. Then just lightly scrubbed it with a regular toothbrush. After connecting to an air tube, I could only get it to let bubbles out when it was vertical or diagonal. Nothing came out when it was flat. I lightly brushed it again and then it started letting out air in about 33% of its length when it was flat. So I put it in my 20 gallon tank. laid it flat at the bottom, and it was working fine. I upgraded my pump to a double air-pump, and let one of the outputs directly to this air stone. Now about 75% is creating bubbles after about 3 weeks of use. I see a small amount of bubbles being created in the remaining 25%, but a very small amount, like the size of a pen point. So for me, about 75% works now and it creates a nice bubble wall that the fish love to swim through, play in, and just let the bubbles carry them up. Make sure both ends are tight, and test it in a water bin first before placing in your aquarium. Scrub it a bit with a light toothbrush if nothing is coming out. And make sure you are using a strong pump too. If you split the air, it may not be getting the maximum of air it requires. It is heavy enough to stay at the bottom, but I did bury it under some gravel to hide the plastic.

Decent Budget Option
Still works to this day, only cleaned it a few times. Not the smallest bubbles but it works sufficiently. It would probably work best with a lot of airflow.

Air bubble
The media could not be loaded. It takes few days for it to open up all stone but it’s worth it ????

MUST USE DECENT PUMP
To those complaining about no bubbles, it's because your pump is too weak for the length of your airline and size of this air stone. It's a very big airstone so needs a powerful pump to work as best as it can. Otherwise it will just let out a small dribble of air. So yes, they work, and very well. But no they're not meant for a tiny tank with some crappy little airpump. I'm using mine for my hydroponics setup and it works fantastic.

Works Well!
Bought this for my son’s first aquarium. It works very well, but you must use a strong air pump (not a cheap one) if you want to create an authentic bubble wall. Make sure you soak the stone in water prior to set up. You can lightly press your fingers onto the stone to ensure the water is penetrating. You can verify this when you see the stone darken from pressing your finger tips on the stone in submerged water. Sits well in gravel and works exactly as stated.

Bubbles went missing in centre
First use the bubble wand was impressive looking. Makes larger bubbles than expected but in my large tank that look works. Did not use the suction cups so I can't comment on that. I layed it in the bottom of the tank on top of the sand and it does not move so all good there. Within a few days the bubbles in the centre section stopped coming through the entire length leaving some gaps. Too bad otherwise much higher rating would have been given.

These air stones are unless (Aqua-Mist) 2" x 10"
I had thought when I bought it that it would worked,,, Surprise Surprise The bubbles Comes from the end for the supply ...It appears that the seal between the plastic retainer and the stone is defective. It' been suggested that a bigger pump would fix the problem I have a commercial air pump and only turned on the valve feeding this stone If the pump is the problem I'll hook it up to my air compressor It's garbage I had 2 come in and both are POS... No difference than just leaving the hose open in the water

Both are defective.
Just like other reviews have said, the bubble sonly come out at the very end where the airstone attaches or the bars attach to each other. I'm using the shortest possible length of air tubing, and the air pump is rated for a 115gallon tank. I'm trying to use 2 of these air bars in a 20 gallon tank so obviously a lack of power isn't the issue.
