Thumbs up and a suggestion
I bought the Bosch 5/8 masonry bit to make 2 and 1/4 inch long holes in a concrete basement slab floor [the holes were for receiving 1/2 inch (outside diameter) drop-in anchors]. As a DIY’er, my hammer drill only has 5.4 amps and I was worried that perhaps the 5/8 bit would be too much for the drill to handle. And indeed it was painfully slow going with the 5/8 bit compared with the 1/4 inch bit that I tried next. Fortunately I decided to experiment by using using the 1/4 hole as a pilot hole for the 5/8 bit and it made a world of difference. The 5/8 bit did not wander but followed the pilot hole perfectly. So in short, for those of you with less powerful hammer drills, you might first want to make a pilot hole [I'm guessing that besides 1/4 inch, other smaller bit sizes, e.g., 3/16, 5/16, 3/8, might also work for pilot holes].

Shank is non-round; that is good
Drilling some very tough concrete with my DeWalt hammer drill and this bit works fine. I previously used a non-Bosch with a completely ROUND shank and the chuck would come loose after 60 seconds of drilling. I have used this bit now for about 20 minutes of tough drilling and the chuck has not come loose.

Perfect...
I needed to drill two holes in the driveway to insert a shepherds hook to run my battery tender lines to the bike and SUV due to both vehicles sitting for extended periods of time thanks to Cov-19... This bit chewed those holes in seconds and perfect diameter, straight up and down, shepherds hook went right in. Lines zip tied, both vehicles on the trickle charging battery tenders. Made the job fairly easy to execute.

This drill bit worked great for my project
This drill bit worked great for my project! I had to drill 4.5" deep holes in some old (18 year old) concrete to install some re-bar. It took only about 5 - 10 minutes per hole, using a hammer drill. I only drilled five holes, so no problems at all with the bit becoming dull. I've worked a lot with concrete, but have never had to attach a new concrete pad to an old one using re-bar. Read many "experts" discuss what size drill bit to use for a given diameter re-bar. Using the recommendation of 1/8" larger diameter drill bit, e.g., using a 5/8" drill bit for 1/2" re-bar didn't work. Using 5/8" drill bit for 5/8" re-bar, and pounding the re-bar in a little with a hand sledge worked great. Just FYI.

Good for drilling anchor bolts
I was able to drill a few holes into my concrete patio before the bit got dull. You will likely need a hammer drill

It is a beast
I had to install an outside outlet by drilling through 8 inches of solid concrete. Took awhile, but it just kept going. Forgot to switch the drill into hammer mode since it was working so well.

5 holes and done
This did five 4" deep holes and then was worn out. This was bet than the corner but nowhere as good as the DeWalt

One seriously heavy duty hole drilling monster drill bit.
I've never seen a massive drill bit like this. It's a beast that'll happily chew through a stone brick. I had to make a hole to get some 3/4 pex through to create a water tap outside. Previous I was trying one of those flimsy cylinder hollow bits. That didn't work at all. But this bit, no problem! I didn't use any cooling. Used my regular battery operated drill on this. I think the drill bit did not wear out yet, so I can use this again. Pretty decent deal I think!

Works on any hammer drill
I probably should have bought the next thickness up, but I was able to widen the hole with the auger part of the bit. As for the head, did a great job going through foundation concrete - no burn marks at the tip from overheating. In my case, effectiveness was more a factor of my Makita hammer drill (you don't need a Bosch for this bit). The triangle chuck grip was a must for my Makita and this Bosch bit had that.

Eats brick for dinner!
This just powered effortlessly through a brick wall. Although some actual concrete took a bit more effort, it got the job done with no major problems - and all this was with a simple consumer-grade "el-cheapo" hammer drill. Good to have in the tool box, even though I likely will not use it very often.

Great Bit
Bought this bit to install new light outside the garage. Happy with the results. Went through the brick like through the butter.
