Did not age well
I’ve had this bird bath for three seasons and it’s not aging well at all. Since we have pretty high winds in the wintertime and the top will take off like a frisbee in a stiff breeze I store it indoors from fall until spring. I use it for seed not water. In the photos you can see it is covered in black fingerprints that will not come out with any polish or cleaning product I’ve tried. I guess the oil from my hands baking in the summer sun is eating into whatever coating is on the feeder and causing it to oxidize. At any rate, whatever I clean the feeder with it doesn’t polish out so I really doubt it’s solid copper as advertised. An aged copper patina is beautiful but this looks pretty unattractive. Edit: After really giving the stained parts the business I can at least say the top is copper. The only areas that will polish are where the dish has been scratched from blowing across my paver patio. Whatever sealant or finish they used on this feeder is on there for the long haul. So perhaps wipe your dish off after handling it to prevent finger prints.

Excellent Buy
Jan. 2014 - After 3 seasons in our garden the stand and bowl still look fantastic and have held up extremely well. Nothing has rusted, no peeling paint, nothing bent or broken from storms, the copper still looks great. Unlike a cement, ceramic or plastic bowl which will end up cracking or shattering if they fall, if this hits the ground after a bad storm, we just pick it up and put it back on the stand no harm done. Well worth the money, we've stopped wasting cash on the cheap ones from home depot that break after one summer. Original Review - A beautiful looking product, exactly as shown in the pictures. However, it would've been helpful to have a more useful description rather than 'made using nature friendly methods' or whatever, but I digress... We just received this bird bath (very quickly I should point out, 1 day ahead of the earliest estimate), and it's very nice brand new, we haven't put it outside yet so I reserve the right to edit this review if I find out it rusts after a week outside. On the other hand if it weathers beautifully outside then I can also raise the rating to 5 stars. The facts: The stand stabs into the ground with two metal spikes for good support. It's made of heavy gauge metal, very solid, I don't expect a bent or broken stand from the wind to be a problem. The rim of the copper dish rests on the ends of the three 'branches', there is no 'hoop' that cradles the base of the dish or any way of attaching the dish to the stand. We will have to wait and see how often the wind blows the dish off of it's supports. The stand is spray coated brown so it will blend nicely into a garden environment. I will revisit this review once it's been outside for a while and I can see how it holds up, until then I'm very happy with it in it's brand new state. We spent $50 each on two different bird baths in the past that only lasted 1 season each, so at less than twice the price of a 1 season bath, if this lasts several years looking good we will be very happy indeed.

Exactly what I was after!
First, can I say Bravo to India? Apparently they understand better than China what it means to package products so they will safely arrive in the US. My product arrived in pristine condition. I love the iron pole/stand made to look like twigs and I appreciate the coat of protection in the smooth, shiny copper bowl. As it wears off naturally I look forward to the patina the copper will get. I have a small garden space and I was looking for a small birdbath that was not concrete nor glass. This fits the bill and the price was not outrageous. I can not wait until my bird friends discover it!

Good, but not great
,stand would not stay vertical without assistance. I used a piece of rebar to stand it up. The whole set is kind of minimalist, not a lot to it.

Very nice
Has a stake bottom so can just be stuck into ground. Bath just sits on top and is heavy and sturdy. I did put a dish with stones in center for a perch for birds since other bath had a brick for a perch and this is smaller. Not sure if it's the end of season and birds are leaving since they were less on other bath but they seem to be shy of this one for now. Other one is one of those large white plastic ones which cannot be left out in winter and I do have one heated one which birds seem to not find or stay away from so added this one that can stay out, even though water will freeze. Did see one bird using it so maybe just takes awhile for them to accept a new item. In any event, it's well worth the money.

Very nice but...
The product looks nice and well made. The bowl is shiny copper, stand is cast iron. Latter will likely rust in time but that's fine. The one problem (hence the 4 stars) is that the birds don't really use it. This is not too surprising: first, birds tend to stay away from shiny things and, two, they the bowl is likely too smooth/slippery for them. So this will likely be more of a garden ornament than a functional bird bath. I guess that's okay.

Classy & Unique Yard Feature
This is a unique bird bath - minimalist in its design, and classy in appearance. Because our front yard is exposed to the street, we were a little concerned about security, because the base is designed to be pushed into the lawn/ground, and the bowl is very easily removed from the base. However, in our case we installed the base in the stump of a dead tree we had removed a year earlier, so it is very secure. That said, the ease with which the attractive bowl itself can be removed remains a point of some concern. But it looks great!

Smaller than its appearance on line
This is a very pretty bird bath but it is much smaller than it appears, so it needs to be re-filled several times a day. I have yet to see a bird using it, but the water keeps disappearing!

Looks great
The colour and style complements the rest of the garden. I've ordered some other items from the same company.
