Exellent quality, well designed, lightweight....but keep an eye on the size chart

Is perfect option if youre looking for a light jacket to use in a daily basis. I work in tropical region and it works just right, not to hot nor to warm. I do find the jacket a bit short, it falls maybe an inch under the belt. It exposes my beltline (where I conceal my weapon) when I strech completely upward. It would be nice having it falling a bit lower, but is no game breaker for me I wont be stretching upwards in every corner . I do recommend checking the size chart before ordering. I usually wear XL clothes, but the XL size of this jacket was very baggy and had huge sleves for me (I'm 5'8/ 250lbs).

Exceptional Jacket for work.

I purchased this jacket for my job. I wear a duty belt and that holds several items consistent with working in a correctional environment. This jacket has side zippers on either hip that zip upwards to allow the jacket to drape around duty belt items, such as radio, pepper spray, pistol, etc. This jacket is light enough that I can wear it through out the day while working indoors (70-72 degrees) If I do feel warm, this jacket allows you to remove the sleeves to utilize as a vest. I was able to have the jacket embroidered with no problems. The material is light but sturdy, makes no noise when sleeves rub against the body of the jacket. If I had any complaint about this jacket it would be that it fits a little short. this is designed this way on purpose that way you can access your duty belt, but it is worth mentioning. Overall, this is the best jacket I've owned for work in the 16 years of my career. I will purchase this jacket again in the future if/when this one wears out. Buy it with confidence. You'll be happy with it.

I bought it for $30!

Let’s be honest I got this for $30 must have been a glitch cause the pricing was changed immediately after I bought it..it’s quality I never buy from 5.11 cause their shipping is horrible but once and a while I get to get even with this type of purchase

Poor quality.

I wore this jacket for about two weeks at work, and the zipper on the left sleeve already blew out and came off. Very disappointed in the quality.

wonderful light weight nice looking jacket!

1) 5.11 jacket 2) detachable sleeves turns into vest 3) very lightweight, 4) very good looking. Bought for my husband who's 5'10" and weighs 175 and the XL fit him nicely! Got this for about $40 less than the regular price so a really great deal! He loves it!

Really good quality jacket from a compay that is rapidly becoming one of my favourite suppliers, 5.11

This is a really nice black jacket - which are very difficult to obtain in the larger sizes as all big guys are in security type work and need black clothing in larger sizes. This is very functional with venting zips on the sides if you get too warm as the material does trap body heat a little. Three good useful pockets and a 'Tough guy' look completes a nice product. Lastly, I been caught in some light rain; which only 'beeds up' on the jackets surface. Recommended.
