Is it worth the money?

I purchased this insert for my newborn. I was disappointed that the swing didn’t come with one because the swing is so expensive. It is a good addition to the swing but it’s priced too high. It should be like $20.

Not needed

I ordered this at the same time as the swing. After putting the swing together I am returning this insert. My baby is a month old and about 9 pounds. He can't hold his head up yet but I am fully comfortable having him in the swing without the insert.

Great cushion for my newborn

My son would not let us put him in the Mamaroo without crying before but now he sits in it (for at least a little while). He likes soft blankets so this helped to comfort him. I thought there were two different cushions but its just reversible. I threw it right in the wash using my baby detergent. It was very easy to clean.

Soft insert, not supportive of newborn heads

Perfect for my mamaroo! My baby always has a blowout so this is an easy way to keep my rocker clean. I use vinegar baking soda and dish soap to pretreat any accidents. Then I just throw it into the washer. This does not support newborn heads so if that is your intention, be aware.

From on guy to another.

The pictures showed the insert in the rocker. I thought I had ordered what I needed, but I only got the insert. Anyway I'm a guy and it's my fault I ordered the wrong one. But I have a 6 week old and when I explained this to my baby momma. Well I got in trouble I'm wasting money buy stupid things again on Amazon. I told her it's no big deall, I'll just order the right one and save the insert for the next kid. I was trying to justify my purchase. ( I don't want another kid, I was joking.) Didn't matter her eyes lit up she's so excited. I messed up men, don't make the same mistake I made.

Misleading description

I like the insert but the description states it is a 2 pack but it’s only one. If I would have known that I would have purchased one for cheaper.

Mamaroo newborn insert- So I didn’t realise this product was not included when you purchase a mamaroo rocker. I have given this product three stars as I just feel it is an expensive product for what it is. I feel like this should already be included in the mamaroo rocker when you are buying a product for such an expensive price. The insert however is very soft and comfortable for my newborn to lie in. I just feel like this is an expensive item when it should really be included in with the rocker or be more advertised that you are not actually receiving this in the main rocker, as it is an essential item you must have if you want to be able to use this for your newborn baby.

This is an essential for with the Mamaroo

The newborn insert is an essential for a newborn with the Mamaroo, my baby was falling down too much for the first 3 months in his Mamaroo. I just think though that they are being cheeky with the high retail cost of the Mamaroo this should be included not an other financial extra just a way to make more money out of people. Compared to other chairs the Mamaroo is very expensive so I think they're unfair selling this product as an add on as it is required for new babies to be safe and comfortable. They're just being greedy.

Expensive for what it is

It is needed in mamaroo but like everyone else said ; should have been part of the expensive swing . It is just a basic soft baby product , happen to fit mamaroo so taken advantage of need and put a high price . Did an Apple iphone trick there , sell some essential products separate . There is absolutely nothing so special about it apart from it being doing the job of fitting in mamaroo to add the required softness. If anybody finds something around £15 , buy that coz trust me there wont be any difference , its just coz there isnt much competition/options online .

Great quality so worth buying.

Ok so the mamaroo is a REALLY expensive product and I think these should be included as standard considering the price of the rocker... BUT I will say its amazing quality. Its super spongy and feels so comfortable so I'm happy I ordered these as well. Worth the money in that respect. I also really like the design and fabric. Would definitely recommend. I haven't used this product yet as I'm still pregnant but I'm sure my baby will appreciate the comfort factor ????

was rubbish, my baby was small enough when born to use it but the top of the head was no good this product was not good at all for a baby better for a doll. the thickness around the top of the head needs to be designed a bit better and not so thick baby don’t like it. could not send back as i brought it before baby was born
