Skid marks not good on a ramp or your under ware
These work perfect. i have a steep ramp i built that gets slick in the winter or when it rains. These are a difference maker. Easy to install like a sticker,, clean area well, dry, then slowly stick.. press down and your golden

REQUIRES PREP FOR POROUS SURFACES! Don't forget strong adhesive spray! The devil in the details
Are you putting these on a porous or rough surface, like textured paint, concrete, or brick? Don't forget to buy some Super 90 or Super 77 spray. You'll need to prep the surface by cleaning (of course) and then pre-spraying it with adhesive and letting it get to its tacky state before applying these stickers. The detailed instructions with that *KEY DETAIL* were on the *inside* of the packaging. That detail aside, they're holding extremely well after being applied to non-slip paint when prepped with Super 77 spray adhesive. As far as how well they function goes, these are SUPER grippy and your hands will feel like sandpaper after applying them. I used them when building a dog ramp for my stairs and the dogs walk on them comfortably, and we humans have had absolutely zero slipping on the ramp since they were applied. 3 month update: they haven’t moved or peeled at all since I installed them, and while they’re a bit dirtier now, they’re showing no signs of wear. The dogs don’t mind walking on them at all, either.

Good on painted concrete - USE Super 77 and wash thouroughly befor applying
My 14 year old 50-pound dog slipped on the painted concrete stairs a couple of times and became terrified of them. This was a problem because we live on the second floor. It became impossible for me to carry him down the stairs when I hurt my back. Enter these 3M treads. I scrubbed the stairs thoroughly with a soapy solution, then TSP, then rinsed multiple times. After it completely dried I sprayed Super 77 and stuck these things down. After initially being freaked out by them, my dog eventually became confident again going down the stairs. Worth the price! DO THE PREP WORK. Note that Amazon folds these for shipping. Home Depot sells them unfolded for the same price. I laid them in the sun because they had been folded and it ended up not being a problem, but for this price I was not happy about it. Also I cut a 6x24 hole through a big piece of cardboard so the Super 77 didn't go everywhere.

They Don't Wear Well
The media could not be loaded. I like the concept and the reflective line but they need to be much thicker. They start tearing off after 2 winters here in the Northeast and for the money you spend you might as well just nail down some shingles. And yes l will be re-staining the steps.

They do the Job
I think that these are best if you like something subtle. I bought these for my mom's split foyer after my nephew's girlfriend fell down the wood stairs and tore some tendons in one of her legs. I ended up buying a different style of these that had the yellow and black diagonal stripes that I liked much better.

Adheres well.
I cut this into strips and placed on outside dog ramp. Works well, keeps paws from slipping.

One less thing to worry about.
It does what it was suppose to do. And it still is doing what it is suppose to be doing. I was able to cut this strip into 8 smaller pieces that were perfect sized to place on my steps leading up to my house. When it rains, my steps become slippery and I needed some grip on them so I (or my guests) wouldn't slip on the stairs every time we used the stairs, and my brother recommended this product. I have only had it on my stairs for a few days, but it did rain last night and when I used the stairs this morning, I rushed out my door and didn't even realize that I scrambled down the stairs without that scary feeling of about to slip...so I would say that it did it's job. One less thing to worry about.

ONLY CONTAINS 1 TREAD!
I thought the listing was for a pack of 6 treads, 24” long each. In fact it’s only ONE single tread! For this price it’s a total rip off. Returning. Also, this single tread shipped in a MASSIVE box large enough for my 2 year old and 5 year old to play inside, filled with bubble wrap. It’s so small it could have easily fit in a large envelope. What a waste of packaging, not impressed

Too expensive
I misread the details and thought I was getting 10 pads per order of approximately $20 per order. It turned out to be I pad per order and at $20 it was way over priced. Caution - dig deeper into ordering items to avoid frustration. Pad are great but with a retired 3M rep friend, he said they are way too expensive at $20 per pad.

Survived shovelling of snow!
This is excellent to prevent slips; is easy to install and it has survived the shovelling of snow! Think I will add more to other steps!

Muy buena cinta antiderrapante!
Me encanto la cinta anti derrapante de 3M porque se adhiere muy bien, resiste el tráfico pesado de personas y es relativamente fácil de limpiar con agua, un poquito se jabon, un cepillo y secado con micro fibra en forma de golpeteo para que no se le quede pelusa.
