Decorative use only

Wonderful looking with bold and beautiful design. An absorbent white terrycloth is sewn onto the backside, nicely. The size is appropriate for a hand towel. It’s well constructed. The towel when folded and hung is basically nonfunctional as a towel, the terry is folded inside. I wet my hands and tried it out. I think it’s printed upside down on the cloth as well, as the fabric nap moves upward from the print. The natural inclination and motion of using a hanging towel is to pull down a bit which goes against the grain of the image. To smooth out the towel you have to brush up rather than down. Turning the towel for a downward nap causes the image to be upside down. It’s very pretty though. I’m going to use it in my 1/2 bath but have another real usable hand towel at the ready.

Yep, material not absorbent like others mentioned- pretty but not functional

I should have taken the reviews more seriously before I impulse purchased this. It is a pretty color and design, but really not functional as a hand / dish towel. If you want something just to look good, this is fine, but if you plan to actually use it, forget about this item.

but I'm a sucker for William Morris patterns. I put it on my dresser. It would not be a useful hand towel.

Nice pattern but not as expected from the description

Nice pattern but smaller than expected, and the towel texture is almost like velour on one side - not at all what i expected from it being described as a tea towel.
