Not sure if this product is supposed to have any kind of seal or not but mine didn’t and the lid wasn’t even fully on. When I pulled it out of the packaging the lid fell off and the contents of the jar spilled AND there was already DRIED product around the top of the outside of the jar so it was definitely opened by someone prior to it being sent to me.

Well, The End Result Is Good But This Is Some Yucky Stuff
I haven't used many masks so this review will be from the point of view of a relatively novice masker. Anything else I've put on my face in the past has been creamy, pasty, foamy or oily. This stuff is just plain old slime. It has the texture and feel of phlegm when you put your finger in the jar to get some on your face. It then feels a like a giraffe or a large donkey sneezed right in your face and covered it with snot. Instead of wiping it off you just let it sit there and dry for 15 to 30 minutes or however long you want to leave it on. As it dries it feels like something between a mud and a wax drying on your face. It says to put a "thick layer" on your face. My definition of thick is different than theirs. This stuff is so thin and slimy, it's not possible to put my definition of a "thick layer" on my skin. I did spread it around a few times and tried to make the layer thicker but that didn't really do much. I just ended up pushing it around on my face and a little bit dripped off. After 20 minutes or so I took a warm washcloth and started wiping this stuff off my face. I had to clean the washcloth and wipe my face a few times until it felt like it was all off my face. Once it was off my face, the skin on my face felt tighter, softer and like something happened to make my skin oil itself. Maybe this pulls dead skin off the face and helps clear pours so that the natural oil in the skin can come to the surface? The end result of using this mask is quite nice. The skin feels good, clean, looks more radiant and is a little bit tight but doesn't feel dry at all. The phlegm consistency of this stuff was pretty gross going on. I don't know that I would buy it. I'd probably try to find another mask that wasn't so slimy. $50 for this isn't exactly cheap but if it was used once or twice a week could probably last for 6-12 months so the price isn't terribly outrageous. Since I don't have much experience with masks, my perception of price is not the best. It seems like a good product and achieves what it is supposed to.

Sunburn alert
Unfortunately, I was not able to use this product like I wanted and can't review the product's effectiveness. However, I am still reviewing it because I believe people need to know the product comes with a big "Sunburn alert" on the packaging that does not appear anywhere on this Amazon description. According to the package, "This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn...Limit sun exposure while using this product for a week afterward." As someone with a history of skin cancer, I have to prioritize sun safety. Had this been advertised, I would not have ordered this product. Three stars for this reason only.

Just OK
Long story short, this product is very gentle which means you will have to use it more frequently and probably have to purchase it more often than other similar products. For the cost, I was hoping for more. I will say that if nothing else, this product is a very gentle exfoliator. If you have extremely sensitive skin, you may like this. You definitely need to use this multiple times a week to get an exfoliating effect, so I find it a little bit inconvenient. The scent is sort of light and citrusy - kind of smells like limes. I don't mind the smell and it does not remain after you rinse the product off. I appreciate the high quality ingredients, but I just wish it left my skin feeling a little softer after a single use.

Nice Mask, Easy to Remove ...
First, this arrives in a really pretty box that is easily recyclable! I love that! Next, when you untwist the cap, you will notice that the product is very liquid-y. Swipe across the top and then disperse this product across your face, neck, and even décolleté. It will feel very liquid-like but should not drip. Likewise, if you use a thin layer, it will nearly entirely dry-down. While it is labelled as unscented, I think that means that there are no artificial perfumes/fragrances. My jar definitely has a scent comparable to when I get glycolic peels at my plastic surgeon's office. It is very mild, but it's there. And, my best guess is that it is innate to the components that create this mask. This does seem to come off well in warm water. I expedited the process by removing it with my Clarisonic. After patting my skin dry, I noticed that it looked very bright and evenly toned. Nice! I followed up this treatment with a generous application of Comfort Zone's Sacred Nature Nutrients Cream. Very soothing, very complementary. This is a nice mask. There is no burning, no irritation, and no arduous removal. I would recommend it to anyone seeking a new regimen!

Wanna be in the Zone?
This Exfoliant Mask from Italy is part of the diverse and generally excellent Sacred Nature line. At just under $12 an ounce it’s a reasonably good value. Although we applaud the folks at Comfort Zone for including the ingredients list in the second photo from the top, the image is low res and would be ideally replaced with an easier to read method of knowing what’s in it before ordering. According to the image list, ingredients are a mix of mostly natural and a few chemical-based ingredients. Fortunately, there are no controversial preservatives included like many brands, even premium lines. One other odd observation: The jar I received does not have the ingredients listed like in the photo, nor are they in the box received.

A mask like glue！！
First of all, I want to say that I am a mask lover. I will try various masks. Let me talk about this mask! It has Fragrance-free, so it smells a bit like Elmer's glue. I don’t like it. I put it on my face for about 15 minutes, and the mask dries, like a layer of glue on the face, it’s transparent. It is an exfoliating mask, but, however, I did not feel any exfoliating function! This is a mask that makes me experience a bad experience!
